TOPIC: Christ Did It For You (TREM Devotional 18 August 2025)

“When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.” – John 19:30 (KJV)

MESSAGE:

Beloved, the foundation of our Christian faith rests on the cross and all that Jesus accomplished through His death, burial, and resurrection. This sacrifice must never be taken lightly or reduced to a mere story. It is the ultimate price, fully paid, so that you and I can walk in freedom and enjoy every benefit of redemption.

On the cross, Jesus declared, “It is finished.” With those words, sin was defeated, sickness and disease were conquered, barrenness and poverty were broken, and the curse of the law was fully dealt with. He didn’t leave anything half-done, He paid it all in full. Scripture tells us: “Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us… so that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.” (Galatians 3:13-14).

Beloved, everything Jesus endured, He did for you. He took your place, absorbed the curse, and released the blessing. The question now is: why leave your inheritance untouched? Why settle for less than what Christ already purchased?

Child of God, you are not cursed, you are blessed! Don’t tolerate anything contrary to the blessing in your life. When the enemy tries to afflict you with sickness, lack, fear, or discouragement, resist him. Declare boldly: “This does not belong to me. My portion is the blessing!”

Your only assignment is to believe in the finished work of Christ. The moment you do, you step into rest, because it is not about what you can do, but about what He has already done. Always remember: Jesus did it all for you!
