TOPIC: Dwell In The Secret Place (TREM Devotional 15 December 2025)
“He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” — Psalm 91:1 (KJV)
MESSAGE
Beloved, where is the secret place that God desires for us to dwell? The secret place is in the Word of God. When you hide yourself in the Scriptures, you abide under the shadow of the Almighty. Dwelling in this place transforms your mind, your perspective, and your confession. You no longer speak in fear or doubt, but you declare: “I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.”
What is the result of dwelling in this secret place? Deliverance and protection are guaranteed. God promises:
“Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: His truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.”
Those who dwell in the secret place align their words with God’s truth. They do not speak sickness, lack, or fear, but life, health, and victory.
“And the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick: the people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity.”
Beloved, make it your priority to dwell in the Word, to hide in God’s promises, and to live under His shadow. Protection, provision, and peace will follow you all the days of your life.
