TREM Devotional – Favour Will Locate You

Dr. Mike Okonkwo TREM

Wisdom For The Day Devotional 1 May 2022 By Bishop Mike Okonkwo – Favour Will Locate You

TOPIC: Favour Will Locate You (TREM Devotional 1 May 2022)

“Gabriel appeared to her and said, “Grace to you, young woman, for the Lord is with you and so you are anointed with great favor.” Luke 1:28 (TPT)

MESSAGE:

Favour will always locate you. Expect it! Even amid a vast crowd, in a city or a village. That was what happened to a woman by the name of Mary. Favour located her in an obscure place called Nazareth. In the sixth month of the year, the Angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee named Nazareth. You know what they always say! Can anything good come out of Nazareth? Never cancel yourself out. I don’t care what your background is! And it doesn’t matter where you came from. When favor locates you, there is no way you will remain the same. Favor has a way of lifting you out of obscurity. It makes you become a wonder to everyone who lives around you.

The Angel came to her and declared: “… Hail, thou that art highly favored, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.” (Luke 1:28 KJV). May God highly favor you in all your endeavours! In all your struggles, may God highly favour you. Favor will locate you because the Lord is with you. That is it! The Lord never abandons His own. The type of favor that singled out Mary amongst many women will locate you wherever you are.

To be singled out means: to separate from the pack, to pick out, to point out, to highlight, to showcase, and to position. The favor of God will highlight you and position you for elevation. It is the presence of God that causes favor to attend your way. You see, we are already in His presence. We live already in His presence. He has brought us into His presence, and we are holy and blameless.

You must practice the presence of God. You carry that presence! The day you received Christ, you carried the presence of God. We are not entering, we are already in His presence. Don’t try to enter! When you say you want to enter, it means that you are still outside the door. By reason of what Christ did, you are already in His presence. That is why favor will always locate you.
