TOPIC: Stand Still And See God’s Salvation (TREM Devotional 8 April 2025)
“And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you today: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen today, ye shall see them again no more forever.” (Exodus 14:13 KJV)
MESSAGE:
The battle belongs to God. The moment you identify the fact that the battle you are facing is not yours, then you should relax and know that the victory is guaranteed. One of the major strategies of the devil is to put fear into you. He knows that once fear comes, faith goes, and without faith it is impossible to please God. So, the enemy tries to push you to the wall knowing that once he can get you to lose confidence in God, the battle is half won by him. But today, I’ve come your way to encourage you to stand still and see God’s salvation. Stand still knowing that the victory is assured.
Let me give you this illustration. Imagine a fan on its highest speed. When you look at it, the blades are moving so fast you cannot count it. No matter how old you are, you won’t dare stick your finger into it saying you want to see the blade. When you stop the fan you will discover that it is only 3 blades or four blades. But when it is spinning, all you see is the base or engine vibrating and the blades are completely hidden. That is exactly the way it is when you are connected to God, the devil cannot isolate you from God. But the moment you allow fear in, it is like the fan that has been stopped. Gradually it begins to lose speed, and in a matter of minutes, you can see the individual blades and you can unscrew them or do anything you want with them
I challenge you not to lose faith. Stay in fellowship. Stay hot and on fire for God. Let the devil know that you won’t give up and you won’t give in. God will certainly come through for you.
