Wisdom For The Day Devotional 5 April 2022 By Bishop Mike Okonkwo – The Believer Has No Reason To Fear
TOPIC: The Believer Has No Reason To Fear (TREM Devotional 5 April 2022)
“And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.” Colossians 2:15 (KJV)
MESSAGE:
God loves you, not because you qualified but because Jesus qualified you. God loves you, not because, you got it all right but because Jesus got it all right. Someone says: Bro Mike you don’t know the wrong things I have done. I don’t care to know the wrong things you have done. What I care to know is that, in spite of what you have done wrong, He still loves you. He loves you irrespective of the mess and the mistakes. That is what sets Him apart in His own exclusive class.
God’s love for you is such that He sent Jesus to perfect your victory through His death, burial and resurrection. God has purchased your perfect redemption because of His unconditional love for you. Therefore, as a believer, you have no reason to be afraid. Don’t be afraid of what Jesus has already dealt with. “And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.” (Colossians 2:15 KJV).
There is nothing the devil brings against you that can defeat you. The greater one lives in you. He that lives in you is greater than he that is in the world. “For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.” (1 John 5:4 KJV). You are a world overcomer! Stop being afraid of what the enemy is showing to you. Get the fear of tomorrow out of your heart. ‘Where am I going to get the money to pay the bill? My business is finished. I am no more in school. What about tomorrow? I am not yet married’. “… Be not afraid, only believe.” (Mark 5:36 KJV).
God will give you acceleration. God will give you restoration. One intervention from God in your life will bring an end to the activities of the powers of darkness in your life. Trust Him. And watch him flex His muscles on your behalf.

I delight myself in the Lord and He gives me the desires of my heart. There is no lack, for my God supplies all of my needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. (PS 37:4, Philippians 4:19)
The Lord has made me a blessing; I am blessed going out and blessed coming in. He will cause the shower to come down in its season. There shall be showers of blessing. The trees of my field will yield their fruit and the earth shall yield her increase. And I shall be safe in the land. I shall lay-up gold as dust and as the stones of the brook. Yea, the Almighty shall be my defense and I shall have plenty of silver (Deuteronomy 28:6, Levi 26:4, Job 22:24-25)
Every day, and in every way, I am getting better: spiritually, physically, financially, mentally, morally, and in all my endeavor.
I am called for a purpose. I will fulfill this purpose and I will arrive at God’s ordained destiny for my life. Nothing will cut me short. I will make a formidable impact in my world for the Kingdom.
