TOPIC: There Is Power In Your Obedience (TREM Devotional 12 April 2022)

“But Simon answered and said to Him, “Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless, at Your word I will let down the net.” And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish, and their net was breaking.” Luke 5:5-6 (NKJV)

MESSAGE:

In my walk with God, I have come to discover that one of the ways believers miss out on their blessing is when they decide to disobey God. The word of God is clear in the book of Isaiah 1:19 says ‘’if ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land.’’ That is the key and there are no two ways about it. You cannot obey God at your own convenience. There is nothing like partial obedience. You are either obeying God or you are living in disobedience. Remember you were created for God’s own pleasure, and He expects that you would always live your life, in total obedience to Him. Living a life of obedience includes obeying His word, and of course instructions from His servants.

The scriptures abound with examples of people who truly obeyed God even when it was not convenient to do so. Every one of them stood tall for God, in-spite of their challenges and today we celebrate their exploits. Peter obeyed the instruction of Jesus. The result was an unprecedented harvest.

As you obey Him, His word and His servants, be assured that He will throw His weight around on your behalf. You will eat the good of the land. Your land will produce for you. You have entered your season of greater glory and there is nothing the devil can do about it. God is bringing you into a land where you will eat bread without scarceness. In other words, ever before a need arises in your life, the supply would have come. No good thing will pass you by. You will take delivery of your miracle. Your lips will testify. You will not be denied.

DAILY CONFESSIONS: APRIL 10TH – APRIL 16TH

The Lord gives me the seed to sow and the bread to eat. He guides me continually. He satisfies my soul in drought; he makes my bones fat. I am like a well-watered garden and like a spring of water whose waters fail not. I will build houses and live in them; I will plant vineyards and eat the fruit of them. I will not build, and another inhabits, I will not plant and another eats. I shall not labor in vain or bring forth for trouble. I will not go out in haste, nor go by flight; for the Lord will go before me and the God of Israel will be my rereward. His kindness shall not depart from me neither shall the covenant of peace be removed. (Is. 55:10; Is. 58:11, Is. 65:21-23, Is. 52:11; Is. 54:10)
Every day and in every way I am getting better: spiritually, physically, financially, mentally, morally, and in all my endeavor.

I am called for a purpose. I will fulfill this purpose and I will arrive at God’s ordained destiny for my life. Nothing will cut me short. I will make a formidable impact in my world for the Kingdom.
