TOPIC: We Are Inching Close To The Last Days (TREM Devotional 15 August 2024)
“And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet.” Romans 1:27 (KJV)
MESSAGE:
The world is now virtually celebrating homosexuality and lesbianism. This is wrong. There is nowhere in the scriptures where God, who made and initiated marriage, said a man should marry a man or a woman should marry a woman.
Often, these advocates of evil say that is how they were made. This is wrong also. It is a lie from the pit of hell. They were not made that way. A demon has come in just like in the days of Noah. As it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be in the last days. We are inching very close to the last days. What was it like in the days of Noah? There were all kinds of immorality and all kinds of demonic activities, just as we are seeing all kinds of things happening now.
For this reason, you must not allow the word to form your opinion or your philosophy of life. Your philosophy of life must be based on God’s word. I don’t care what your lecturer told you. I don’t care what you read in books. It is wrong for anyone not a Christian to be your mentor or role model. We can celebrate their achievements and thank God for them, but they shouldn’t be your role model. The scripture commands us to look unto Jesus, the Author and the Finisher of our faith. (Hebrews 12:2)
Jesus is your perfect example. Don’t let the success and the things you see make you choose a homosexual as your role model. That is an aberration! It is unacceptable! You can thank God for their actions but say to them you can’t be my role model. You are higher than them by virtue of your relationship with God.
