Wisdom For The Day Devotional 18 November 2022 By Bishop Mike Okonkwo – What Are You Saying?
TOPIC: What Are You Saying? (TREM Devotional 18 November 2022)
“For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.” Mark 11:23 (KJV)
MESSAGE:
Beloved, what you say with your mouth is critical to where you are going. What are the things you speak concerning your life on a daily basis? Proverbs 18:20-21 a man’s belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth [and] with the increase of his lips shall he be filled. Death and life are in your mouth- If you are speaking about death and negative things about the present situation you are faced with, it will happen. You see, that situation is merely a temporary condition; you are not supposed to think that it is your obituary. It is not supposed to be the end of your story or your final destination. Things will definitely open up, I can see them opening up. Do not abort it with the words that you speak.
Speak life and not death. If you wake up every morning, you should speak life into your pockets, speak life into your business, speak life into your finance, speak life into your health, speak life into your marriage, speak life into your academics, speak life into your body, and speak life into everything that concerns you. You have the authority to speak life. The book of Mark 11:22-23 says, “And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. Have the God kind of faith” What is that God kind of faith? our text explains it thus, “for verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain…” There it is again! Your mouth must be engaged. A closed mouth is a closed destiny. Whatever has shut things down for you is a mountain. And the scripture there says if we say to the mountain be thou removed.
What are you saying? Start saying what you want to see and what you want to have. Take a decision now on the quality of words that you are speaking. Speak the word of God to your situation. The word of God is infallible, errorless, impregnable, and authoritative, it can never fail.

Thanks be unto God who always causes me to triumph in Christ and makes manifest His Knowledge by me in every place because I am the light of the world and the salt of the earth. I refuse to faint under any circumstance and though my outward man perishes, I know that my inward man is renewed day by day. (2 Cor 2:14, Matt 5:13-14, 2 Cor 4:17)
I shall lay-up gold as dust and as the stones of the brook. Yea the Almighty shall be my defence and I shall have plenty of silver The Lord has made me a blessing; I am blessed going out and blessed coming in. He will cause the shower to come down in its season; there shall be showers of blessing. The trees of my field will yield their fruit and the earth shall yield her increase and I shall be safe in the land. (Job 22:24-25, Deut. 28:3, Lev. 26:4)
Every day and in every way I am getting better: spiritually, physically, financially, mentally, morally, and in all my endeavours.
I am called for a purpose. I will fulfill this purpose and I will arrive at God’s ordained destiny for my life. Nothing will cut me short. I will make a formidable impact in my world for the Kingdom.
IT IS MY WEEK OF ACCELERATION!
