TOPIC: You Believe To Become (TREM Devotional 10 September 2025)
“Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.” – John 20:29 (KJV)
MESSAGE:
Beloved, Thomas struggled to believe the testimony of Christ’s resurrection. He said, “Unless I see the nail prints and touch them, I won’t believe.” When Jesus appeared, He told Thomas, “Because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen, and yet have believed.”
Many believers still live like Thomas today. The Bible declares that you are a new creation, but you may say, “My reality doesn’t look like what Scripture says.” Because you don’t see change outwardly, you find it hard to believe what God says about you. But the kingdom principle is this: you must first believe, then you will see.
Transformation follows belief, not the other way around.
God calls you righteous. Even when you don’t feel righteous or look righteous, the truth is that you are righteous, not because of your works, but because of Christ’s finished work. That’s how grace operates. Grace is unearned, unmerited, and undeserved. When you believe what Christ has made you, the Spirit of Truth begins to manifest it in your life.
Whenever you open the Scriptures, you must look for Jesus. As He is, so are you in this world (1 John 4:17). Not when you get to heaven, but right now. He went to hell, defeated the devil, and rose in victory. Death could not hold Him down. Today, He is seated, having completed the work, and you are seated with Him. This is why you are more than a conqueror.
