Wisdom For The Day Devotional 10 November 2022 By Bishop Mike Okonkwo – You Have Been Predestined By God
TOPIC: You Have Been Predestined By God (TREM Devotional 10 November 2022)
“According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:” Ephesians 1: 4 (KJV)
MESSAGE:
Beloved, life is like a movie production. We are the actors in the play of life, and the master producer has already figured everything out. Everything is already finished, nothing more to be added, nothing to be removed, everything is completed. Everything about your life has been perfected before you came into the scene. God has chosen you in him before the foundation of the world.
God said to Jeremiah, before I formed thee in the belly, I knew thee; and before thou camestforth out of the womb I sanctified thee a prophet unto the nations (Jeremiah 1:5). Child, of God, before you were born, God already knew you. That means that your beginning was not when you arrived on the earth. God said to Jeremiah that he was sanctified and ordained as a prophet to the nations even before he was born. It means that your future, your assignment, your purpose and your own part in the script has already been determined by God. So, no devil can take you out before your time. You must accomplish your own part and no other person can accomplish it.
Jeremiah wanted to argue with God. But God told him that he would fulfill everything that has been spoken about him. God said, I will hasten my word to perform it, I will ensure that all what I have spoken will all come to pass. In Chapter 29 of Jeremiah and in verse 11, God said, for I know the thoughts that I think toward you, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you an expected end. I like the next verse (vs12), then shall you call upon me and you shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. It is this understanding that will cause you to pray and I will have no option but to answer you. You are predestined for glory and not for shame. Every story of reproach, shame and embarrassment in your life is rolled away.

DAILY CONFESSIONS: November 6th – November 12th
The Lord girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect. He maketh my feet like hinds’ feet, and setteth me upon my high places. He teacheth my hands to war, so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms. The Lord hast also given me the shield of His salvation: and His right hand hath held me up, and His gentleness hath made me great.
He has enlarged my steps under me that my feet did not slip. I have pursued mine enemies, and overtaken them: neither did I turn again till they were consumed. I have wounded them that they were not able to rise: they are fallen under my feet. The Lord hast girded me with strength unto the battle: He hast subdued under me those that rose up against me. The Lord hast also given me the necks of mine enemies; that I might destroy them that hate me.
…thanks be to God, which giveth me the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. I am an overcomer (Psalm 18:32-40, I Corinth 15:57, 1 John 5:4)
Every day and in every way I am getting better: spiritually, physically, financially, mentally, morally, and in all my endeavours.
I am called for a purpose. I will fulfill this purpose and I will arrive at God’s ordained destiny for my life. Nothing will cut me short. I will make a formidable impact in my world for the Kingdom.
IT IS MY WEEK OF ACCELERATION!
