Topic: You Have It All In Christ [Saturday March 3, 2018]
“And Abraham gave all that he had unto Isaac”. Genesis 25:5
One of the truths you must know as a child of God is that you already have everything in Christ. And I mean everything. How can Christ come into your life and will not come with everything that He is? Think of it. 1 John 4:17 says: “Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the Day of Judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world”. As He is, so are we. He didn’t say as He was. If he said as He was, that is even good enough, but then He is telling you that is not the best. Who you received is the resurrected Christ, not the incarnate Christ.
The incarnate Christ is not the best; the resurrected Christ is superior to the incarnate Christ. The Christ that we have is the One that has already defeated the devil, not the one that is about to defeat the devil; not the one that is going to die. This One has already died, paid the supreme price, completely complete and perfectly perfect. And then He triumphed over the forces of grave and hell and arose victoriously. That is the Christ we received. In other words, that situation is already defeated. Praise God!
With Christ in you, there is nothing like a defeat for you. I repeat, no more defeat. He came to you with everything that He is. Just like Abraham gave his all to his son Isaac, so also you have received everything in Christ. Gen 25:5 says “And Abraham gave all that he had unto Isaac”. All that he had. In other words, he put in Isaac everything that defined him. In verse 6, it says “But unto the sons of the concubines, which Abraham had, Abraham gave gifts…” You see, he gave them gifts. Notice that gifts are inside all that Isaac had. So, when Christ is in you, you have all. Everything you will ever need to succeed in life, you have it all in Christ. Hallelujah! By this understanding, I declare that you will no longer experience lack nor defeat in your life. Enjoy abundant life.
