Topic: He’s Everything You Need [Saturday May 27, 2017]
After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward (Genesis 15:1).
The Lord is your exceeding great reward. To have Him is to have everything. He’s everything you need in life. He’s your satisfaction, your joy, and your fulfillment.
Never think, “If I only had this or that, my life would be wonderful.” No. What you have is all you need, and you have Christ. Christ is everything. He’s all you need to produce whatever else you think you might require.
Turn your attention away from everything else, to the Lord and He’ll lead and guide you in the glorious path that He’s destined for you. You belong to Jesus Christ, and He’s more passionate about your success than you could ever be. Therefore, have no fears; refuse to worry. Rest confidently in His love, knowing that He has everything it takes to lead you in perpetual victory. Refuse to allow anything distract you from serving Him as you should. Set your affection on Him and on the things He cares about. Be a soul winner.
Remember, you’re not of this world; therefore, your affection shouldn’t be on the things of this world: “If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth” (Colossians 3:1-2). All that you are, and all that you have, are in Him. He’s your reason for being. Trust Him with your life and He’ll order your steps and direct the affairs of your life to be in sync with His perfect will for you.
Blessed Father, I rejoice in you exceedingly, for you’re my life and my all! Thank you for the grace you’ve granted me to be an effective soul winner and a minister of reconciliation. How I love and appreciate you! I live for you alone, and rejoice that you’re my everything. Thank you for granting me all that I need to fulfill my destiny in you, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
