Philip Olaomi is a classically trained singer, songwriter, instrumentalist and a gospel recording artiste who is very passionate about leading others into God’s presence, through intense worship and music.
Hailing from Nigeria, Africa, Philip discovered and embraced his love and passion for music at the age of 14, when he joined, and sang tenor at his local church. At age 18, he began writing songs, and playing trumpet, later adding the saxophone to his musical cache.
Olaomi’s love for God, coupled with his musical evolution, served as the catalyst to him being appointed as the Choir Director of his college fellowship. Currently based in the U.S., the versatile music minister serves as the Assistant Choir Director at his church, The Gospel Faith Mission International, House Of Change, in Baltimore Maryland.
Among many who minister through music, Pastor Donnie McClurkin, Kurt Carr, Kirk Franklin, and Cece Winans, are who have inspired him, and created in him the yearning to worship God through music.
Philip Olaomi takes his artistry to new heights with the release of his debut project christened GRATEFUL: an original composition with various genres and hints of traditional rhythms.
