Topic: Can God Trust You? [December 17, 2016]
“O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings.” (1 Timothy 6:20)
Can God trust you with responsibility in His house? Are you committed to the things of God or opposite is the case? Are you one of the professional bench warmers who have been in church for a long time and yet do nothing for the work of God? Be serious with your responsibility in the house of God; see the work of God as a serious matter.
Take a cue from Paul; immediately he rose up from that encounter on his way to Damascus, he said “what shall I do Lord…?” (Acts 22:10a)
God expects us to be committed to His work and not just proffer vain babblings. For every responsibility God gives you, there is a blessing attached.
Whatever you do in church, whether as a worker or a leader, be committed.
