Critically acclaimed Gospel group from Zimbabwe, The Vine Music kicks off February with the release of the audio and visual for “Glory To His Name”, featuring founding director, Everton Mlalazi and Grammy Award-winning star, Vashawn Mitchell.
Coming off their just released star-studded project, “Great Is Thy Faithfulness,” which is in commemoration of the group’s 10th year anniversary, “Glory To His Name” is another powerful worship tune by the iconic group, a call to worship that provokes the need to know God more, Vashawn Mitchell also added more spice to the already fire track.
Having consistently led believers to worship for the past 10 years, The Vine also boasts of 4 impressive studio projects including “Great Is Thy Faithfulness” which was released in January, 2025.
The group is led by the ever reliable, Everton Mlalazi, where he remains the founding director. Under his exemplary leadership; the group released several highly successful albums “Musandipfuure” in 2018 and “The Great Physician” in 2022.
His solo career began to take shape at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, following six successful years of curating and co-directing projects with The Vine. He recorded over a 100 episodes of “Virtual Hymns”, which provided the much needed encouragement in the challenging time and followed up with his album “In His Presence” in November 2020. His solo discography includes 3 albums, working with acclaimed artistes such as Jekalyn Carr, Vashawn Mitchell, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Janet Manyowa, amongst others
