TREM Devotional – Speak The Word

Bishop Mike Okonkwo

Wisdom For The Day Devotional 11 May 2024 By Bishop Mike Okonkwo – Speak The Word

TOPIC: Speak The Word (TREM Devotional 11 May 2024)

“Then the LORD put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth. See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.” Jeremiah 1:9-10 (KJV)

MESSAGE:

Beloved, in this Kingdom, we say nothing other than God’s Word. Don’t ever say it cannot happen. Don’t ever say what your circumstances are saying. God calls the things that be not as though they were. Stop calling the things that are, the way they are. No! In this Kingdom, we don’t say things the way they are, we speak God’s Word. God’s Words are Spirit and they are Life. The Word of God is infallible, errorless, impregnable, and authoritative.

The Word of God carries wonders. Wonders will take place when the Word of God is spoken. Speak. Cultivate the habit of persistently speaking the Word over your life. Speak victory in your life! Speak open doors and breakthroughs. Command every form of evil and wickedness to bow before you. Each time you speak the Word of God, power is released! “Where the word of a king is, there is power; And who may say to him, “What are you doing?” Ecclesiastes 8:4 (NKJV).

As a child of God, it is your responsibility to deploy the Word of God through your mouth to throw down everything contrary to the design of God’s will for you. Root them out! With the Word in your mouth, destroy everything that is working contrary to God’s purpose. Whatever the enemy has packaged cannot stand. Speak to it and destroy it by the authority of the Word of God.

Don’t trivialize the power of the Word. Whatever the Word says is what you should speak. Speak the Word. Whether things look good or not, keep speaking the Word. It will happen because the Word of God will always prevail. “So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed.” Acts 19:20 (KJV).

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – See You When You Come Back

Pastor Paul Enenche

Dunamis Seeds Of Destiny 11 May 2024 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche: See You When You Come Back

TOPIC: See You When You Come Back (Seeds Of Destiny 11 May 2024)

SCRIPTURE: Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. – Proverbs 18:21.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Your destiny is at the mercy of your tongue.

MESSAGE:

In one of services one day, by revelation, I spoke prophetically about someone who was traveling to a far eastern country, precisely China. I said that the Lord would take the person there and bring them back safely.

A woman came out and said “Sir, I am the one you were talking about. I’m traveling to China this Friday.”

Then I said to her, “Go and return safely. See you when you come back.”

So, she travelled and went to China. But on her way back, between China and Dubai, in the course of the flight, about thirty-five thousand feet above sea level, the aircraft’s engine failed. The aircraft dropped in altitude by ten thousand feet within five minutes. It was dropping like a stone.

At this point the pilot announced, “Ladies and gentlemen, get ready for a crash.”

Then immediately, passengers started screaming and shouting. In a lamenting voice, someone beside her said, “Is this how we are going to die?”

But this woman, the member of our church who earlier received the prophecy, “Go and return safely. See you when you come back”, stood up and said, “If you are about to die, I am not about to die. My pastor told me, ‘See you when you come back. And he will see me when I get back’”.

After the declaration she began to pray in the language of the Holy Ghost.

All of a sudden, within five minutes, the aircraft gained altitude and stabilised.

Then the pilot announced again, “I don’t know what happened, but everything is in order now.”

Beloved, that was the impact of the tongue. You can live by your words and you can die by your words. But death is not your portion in Jesus’ Name. Your destiny is at the mercy of your tongue.

Remember this: Your destiny is at the mercy of your tongue.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Don’t talk carelessly.
  2. Shape your life and destiny with your words.

PRAYER: Lord, I receive the grace to shape my life with my Words. Give me the grace to talk gracefully and positively, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

DCLM Daily Manna – Nothing Can Conquer Us

Pastor W. F. Kumuyi

DCLM Daily Manna 11 May 2024 Devotional By Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — “Nothing Can Conquer Us”

TOPIC: “Nothing Can Conquer Us” (DCLM Daily Manna 11 May 2024)

KEY VERSE: “And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it” (Matthew 16:18).

TEXT: Matthew 16:13-19 (KJV)

13 When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?

14 And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.

15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?

16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.

17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

MESSAGE:

The Church of Christ has continuously fulfilled the Lord’s prophecy that it would experience a victorious march through history despite the antics of Satan and his agents. More than 2,000 years after our Lord projected this triumph for His kingdom, the body of Christ has recorded success after success. The Church has overcome world powers and empires, which worked to destroy the faith. She has survived the cruel machinations of pompous royalty that felt challenged by the more potent majesty of Jesus. She has defeated the combined forces of doctrinal dissent, false philosophy and hurtful ecumenical pursuits; all orchestrated by the devil throughout the centuries.

Our Lord was aware that fierce spiritual and physical battles lay ahead of those called out of the world to form His Church. So, He prophetically planted in us the unfailing power to march on in victory. The “gates of hell” would surface to attempt to destroy the brethren, He warned, but they shall not prevail against the Church.

The Early Church also benefited from the prophecy. Waves of persecution and martyrdom did not stop her growth. From a small beginning of hundreds of believers in Christ, some 3,000 were added by the Lord. Then 5000 came along. Next, it was uncountable multitudes all in the face of “the gates of hell”.

Christ’s Church is made up of true believers in Him. We carry with us His invincible and triumphant Spirit. As He can never be defeated, so are we unstoppable in the work of winning the world for Him. When we consecrate our lives in purity and obedience to serve Him, we are guaranteed the supernatural power and backing to move on to final victory.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
They labour in vain that seek to conquer the Church of Christ.

We Overcame - Lilian Kellany 1

Canadian-Nigerian gospel artist and songwriter, Lilian Kellany unveils her latest single accompanied by a professionally directed video titled “We Overcome.”

Lilian shares insights about the creation of the song, stating, ““We Overcame” is a song that God gave me through the inspiration from his word in Luke 1:37 and Rev.12:11. The twist there is tapping into the current “japa” syndrome and infusing the amapiano to make it modern and relatable. Also, the style of music makes it easy to use in church for regular praise sessions as well as jamming to it in your car or on the street.”

She adds, “I hope this song serves as a reminder of our victorious nature through faith, affirming that nothing is impossible with God.”

Join Lilian Kellany in her ongoing mission to impact lives positively and foster a worldwide movement of love and faith through the potency of Afrogospel music. Each composition she delivers seeks to embolden spiritual communion and elevate the act of praise.

TREM Devotional – Focus On What God Has Perfected

Bishop Mike Okonkwo

Wisdom For The Day Devotional 10 May 2024 By Bishop Mike Okonkwo – Focus On What God Has Perfected

TOPIC: Focus On What God Has Perfected (TREM Devotional 10 May 2024)

“Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.” Jeremiah 1:4-5 (KJV)

MESSAGE:

When you understand what had been done on your behalf, there is no way you are going to end a failure.

According to the scriptures, everything about Jeremiah had been perfected before he was born. So, Jeremiah, you may be a small boy, people may have written you off, and things around you may not be saying so, but listen you are a Prophet to the nations. And the same applies to you. God is not a respecter of persons.

The problem with a lot of people who say they are believers is that they are looking at the present circumstances and the conditions they are in, and not what God has perfected in eternity. God said to Jeremiah: “Before I formed thee…” It was settled before Jeremiah was conceived in his mother’s womb. Therefore, as far as Heaven’s record is concerned, even though it did not look like it, Jeremiah was already a Prophet to the nations. All he needed to do was to receive it.

Then Jeremiah replied: “…Ah, Lord God! Behold, I cannot speak, for I am a youth.” Jeremiah 1:6 (NKJV). That is what we always say. How can that be? I came from a humble background! I am not educated! I am not like the other people! God responded to Jeremiah and said: “…Do not say, ‘I am a youth,’ For you shall go to all to whom I send you, And whatever I command you, you shall speak.” Jeremiah 1:7 (NKJV). What an assurance!

Stop worrying about how it will happen. Your part is to believe and receive it. God’s Word can never fail. “Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.” Mark 13:31 (NKJV). You are not going to end a disappointment. It will rain again in your life.

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Ill-Treatment – A Proof Of Lovelessness

Pastor Paul Enenche

Dunamis Seeds Of Destiny 10 May 2024 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche: Ill-Treatment – A Proof Of Lovelessness

TOPIC: Ill-Treatment – A Proof Of Lovelessness (Seeds Of Destiny 10 May 2024)

SCRIPTURE: Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law. Romans 13:10

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Any form of ill-treatment a person metes out to his neighbour is a proof of bankruptcy of love.

MESSAGE:

Sometime ago, a woman told me her real-life experience some time ago. A strange woman took her husband away from her. Her husband began to live with this strange woman.

Whenever she called the husband’s phone line, it was this strange woman that would pick the call. At the time she was telling me the story, husband had already lived together with this strange woman for about 21 days.

One day, this woman called her husband’s phone line again, and the strange woman picked as usual.

She asked the strange woman, “What you are doing, is it correct? You are a woman like me, why are you taking another person’s husband?”

In response, the strange woman said to her, “If you don’t beg me, you wouldn’t see your husband for the next six months.”
This man was quarantined in the strange woman’s house as if he was being held hostage by the woman.

In pains, the woman replied the strange woman, “The man in your house is the husband of my youth. We suffered together. When we were suffering, you were not there. And now you are keeping my husband and my children can’t see their father.”

Can you see the heart of people?
The strange woman can be best described as heartless. She had the guts to keep another woman’s husband, starving his wife and children of his love and affection. What a loveless generation!

The truth is, if the matter of love can be addressed and people start loving one another, we will have a better world.
Love worketh no ill to his neighbour (Romans 13:10). Any form of ill-treatment a person metes out to his neighbour is a proof of bankruptcy of love. Crookedness or wickedness only displays the lovelessness rooted in the heart.

Remember this: Any form of ill-treatment a person metes out to his neighbour is a proof of bankruptcy of love.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Make up your mind never to be cruel, ruthless or wicked to your neighbours.
  2. Don’t do to anyone what you don’t want them to do to you.

PRAYER: Lord, I ask that you take away from me the heart of ruthlessness, wickedness and cruelty. I receive a heart of love and compassion for everyone, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

QUOTE: You must understand that, God loves you so much to bring you to the point of delivering you from the great swelling pit of destruction of bitterness. Culled from the book, “AM I BITTER?” by Dr Becky Paul-Enenche.

DAILY READING: Psalm 4-6.

AMAZING FACT: The beating sound of the heart occurs because of the closing and opening of the heart’s valves.

PROPHETIC WORD (DECLARATION): Receive the flow of the love of God in your heart by the ministry of the Holy Spirit today, in Jesus’ Name.

DCLM Daily Manna – Beyond Comprehension

Pastor W. F. Kumuyi

DCLM Daily Manna 10 May 2024 Devotional By Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — “Beyond Comprehension”

TOPIC: “Beyond Comprehension” (DCLM Daily Manna 10 May 2024)

KEY VERSE: “All nations before him areas nothing; and they are counted to him less than nothing, and vanity”(Isaiah 40:17).

TEXT: Isaiah 40:12-18 (KJV)

12 Who hath measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, and meted out heaven with the span, and comprehended the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance?

13 Who hath directed the Spirit of the Lord, or being his counsellor hath taught him?

14 With whom took he counsel, and who instructed him, and taught him in the path of judgment, and taught him knowledge, and shewed to him the way of understanding?

15 Behold, the nations are as a drop of a bucket, and are counted as the small dust of the balance: behold, he taketh up the isles as a very little thing.

16 And Lebanon is not sufficient to burn, nor the beasts thereof sufficient for a burnt offering.

17 All nations before him are as nothing; and they are counted to him less than nothing, and vanity.

18 To whom then will ye liken God? or what likeness will ye compare unto him?

MESSAGE:

Bible scholars say ancient Jewish Scribes and prophets worked with two writing implements. One was exclusively for writing only the name of God while the second writing tool was for the normal narrative. This was reportedly done by the custodians of the documents because God was respected for the ineffable honour that matched His incomprehensibility.

Similarly, today’s text hints at the extreme grandeur that surrounds the Almighty God. He created nothing as great as Himself. His works and acts perfectly point to His blazing glory. His creations are sobering, superlative, sweeping and sublime. When we consider them, we are called to stand in petrifying awe, bereft of words to capture His greatness in our limited human language. We can come to a close and faint understanding of Him only as we link Him to the vast cosmos He brought forth. What we correctly view as boundless and beyond what can be expressed in our reasoning turns out, in His estimation, as “a drop of a bucket…the small dust of the balance…a very little thing.”

The Bible affirms that God holds this extensive universe including all its inhabitants, earthlings and celestials, “in the hollow of His hand”. It is a comforting assurance that man can trust God to be his Guide as nothing can go wrong under His watch.

We who are already enjoying a fruitful relationship with this great God and are not distracted by the noise of godlessness around us must leave our comfort zones to introduce our incomprehensible Lord to a world lost in doubt and fear. They need to know there is a God greater than the marvels of science, technology and artificial intelligence of the age.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
The truly blindman is he who stares at the wonders of the universe and does not see God in them.

TREM Devotional – All You Need Is Jesus

Bishop Mike Okonkwo

Wisdom For The Day Devotional 8 May 2024 By Bishop Mike Okonkwo – All You Need Is Jesus

TOPIC: All You Need Is Jesus (TREM Devotional 8 May 2024)

“And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net. And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.” Luke 5:5-7 (KJV)

MESSAGE:

Before Jesus showed up, Peter and his team were washing their nets out of frustration and defeat. Washing their net was a sign-off: It is over. When you go into any endeavour without Jesus, what you will be doing is toiling. That is why you need Jesus. It is toiling without Jesus.

The moment Jesus stepped into Peter’s boat, everything turned around. Beloved, all you need is Jesus. When Jesus enters your boat, never take it for granted. You should be celebrating! When He made His choice to enter your boat, you had better open up. When Jesus stepped into the boat, He sat down. The sitting position is a position of rest. In other words: No matter what you are facing, all is well. No matter what you are facing, it is all covered. I am in control of it. No matter the challenge, you are not going to end up in shame or disgrace. No matter what the enemy has done, stop being anxious; you have come to the right source.

Peter sat down and listened to Jesus. The struggle had ended. Efforts had ended. Expertise and skill had ended. His hope was now in Jesus. And when he responded to the instruction of the Master, he had an unprecedented catch of fish. Peter responded to the Word of Grace. The Word of God will never fail. The Word of God is infallible, errorless, impregnable, and authoritative.

Peter “…was astonished, and all that were with him, at the draught of the fishes which they had taken:” Luke 5:9 (KJV). Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. What He did for one, He will do for another. He will do wonderful things in your life. Rest in Him.

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Confess Your Revelation, Not Your Situation

Pastor Paul Enenche

Dunamis Seeds Of Destiny 8 May 2024 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche: Confess Your Revelation, Not Your Situation

TOPIC: Confess Your Revelation, Not Your Situation (Seeds Of Destiny 8 May 2024)

SCRIPTURE: …let the weak say, I am strong. JOEL 3:10.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The way you speak can make you strong and the way you speak can make you sick.

MESSAGE:

I heard the story from Dr Paul Yongi cho (of blessed memory) of a woman who once went to a Christian medical doctor in Korea because she had PUO. PUO means Pyrexia of unknown origin, which is fever of unknown origin.

The doctor interrogated and examined her a little, but could not find out the cause of the fever.

Then, the doctor asked her, “Please tell me the kind of things you say to yourself.”
And the woman began to recount what she usually said. She said that every time someone said anything she didn’t like, she would say to the person, “Don’t burn me with your words. You are burning me up with your words.”

She kept talking like that until her body literally began to burn her. That was the cause of the fever she had.

Proverbs 12:18 says,
There is that speaketh like the piercings of a sword: but the tongue of the wise is health.
So, the tongue of the wise can bring good health and the tongue of the fool can also bring ill-health.

The way you speak can make you strong and the way you speak can also make you sick.
Joel 3:10 says,
…let the weak say, I am strong.
You may be weak or sick, nevertheless, do not confess your situation; confess your revelation from God’s Word which is divine health. Even if you are sick or weak, the revelation is that you are strong and healthy. So, refuse to confess your situation no matter how real it appears.

Confess your revelation; declare the truth of God’s Word concerning your life.

REMEMBER THIS: The way you speak can make you strong and the way you speak can make you sick.

ASSIGNMENT:

  1. Refuse to confess your situation or condition, rather, confess your revelation and reality,
  2. Dissociate yourself from negative speakers.

PRAYER: Thank You Lord for the revelation of Your Word to me today. I receive grace to confess my revelation and reality, and not my situation and condition, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

DCLM Daily Manna – Best Way To Lighten The Burden

Pastor W. F. Kumuyi

DCLM Daily Manna 8 May 2024 Devotional By Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — “Best Way To Lighten The Burden”

TOPIC: “Best Way To Lighten The Burden” (DCLM Daily Manna 8 May 2024)

KEY VERSE: “And let them judge the people at all seasons: and it shall be, that every great matter they shall bring unto thee, but every small matter they shall judge: so shall it be easier for thyself, and they shall bear the burden with thee”(Exodus 18:22).

TEXT: Exodus 18:13-27 (KJV)

13 And it came to pass on the morrow, that Moses sat to judge the people: and the people stood by Moses from the morning unto the evening.

14 And when Moses’ father in law saw all that he did to the people, he said, What is this thing that thou doest to the people? why sittest thou thyself alone, and all the people stand by thee from morning unto even?

15 And Moses said unto his father in law, Because the people come unto me to enquire of God:

16 When they have a matter, they come unto me; and I judge between one and another, and I do make them know the statutes of God, and his laws.

17 And Moses’ father in law said unto him, The thing that thou doest is not good.

18 Thou wilt surely wear away, both thou, and this people that is with thee: for this thing is too heavy for thee; thou art not able to perform it thyself alone.

19 Hearken now unto my voice, I will give thee counsel, and God shall be with thee: Be thou for the people to God-ward, that thou mayest bring the causes unto God:

20 And thou shalt teach them ordinances and laws, and shalt shew them the way wherein they must walk, and the work that they must do.

21 Moreover thou shalt provide out of all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place such over them, to be rulers of thousands, and rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens:

22 And let them judge the people at all seasons: and it shall be, that every great matter they shall bring unto thee, but every small matter they shall judge: so shall it be easier for thyself, and they shall bear the burden with thee.

23 If thou shalt do this thing, and God command thee so, then thou shalt be able to endure, and all this people shall also go to their place in peace.

24 So Moses hearkened to the voice of his father in law, and did all that he had said.

25 And Moses chose able men out of all Israel, and made them heads over the people, rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens.

26 And they judged the people at all seasons: the hard causes they brought unto Moses, but every small matter they judged themselves.

27 And Moses let his father in law depart; and he went his way into his own land.

MESSAGE:

In our time, one major factor that enhances labour efficiency in production or service delivery is the release of responsibilities and work distribution by management or employer to lower-cadre personnel. As the top executives cede some assignments to the professionally capable junior ranks, a cordial relationship is established that gives the workers a sense of belonging, which, in turn, increases their level of efficiency and productivity.

This idea is not new. Years ago, the children of Israel applied this principle under the leadership of Moses in the wilderness as they headed for the Promised Land. It started as a counsel from the visiting Jethro, Moses’ father-in-law. He agonised over how Moses wore himself out all day attending to numerous issues brought by the people. He suggested a delegation of power to persons of capability and integrity to judge the people along with him at different levels. Moses implemented it and, obviously, was refreshed and focused on more arduous tasks.

In the church, God has always gifted people to be used for the expansion of His kingdom. What is required is for every one of us to draw from the rich reservoir of gifts and talents the Lord has graciously provided and present them for His use. And “As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another…” (1 Peter 4:10).

Kingdom work will be more productive and pleasing to God when all human resources available in the church are harnessed for it. The leaders are not to live in a closet of their own ideas and the members are also not to operate as independent beings. Both are to freely share their ideas under the concerted guidance of their Spirit-filled leader.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
Shared responsibility breeds sweet success.
