TREM Devotional – God’s Word You Believe And Speak Produces Power

Bishop Mike Okonkwo

Wisdom For The Day Devotional 22 April 2024 By Bishop Mike Okonkwo – God’s Word You Believe And Speak Produces Power

TOPIC: God’s Word You Believe And Speak Produces Power (TREM Devotional 22 April 2024)

“We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak.” 2 Corinthians 4:13 (KJV)

MESSAGE:

The devil will challenge your acceptance because he challenged Jesus. But that should not make you refuse your acceptance. The more he challenges it, the more you declare it. That is how to win.

The greatest honour you can give to Jesus to appreciate what He did for you is by accepting what He did for you. Don’t let the devil cower you. Don’t let him throw you under the table. Heaven values you more than that. As far as heaven’s economy is concerned, you are successful because the price for your success has been paid.

You will not see Adam struggling in Genesis Chapters one and two. His struggle began when the devil stepped in and challenged what God called him. From that time, he started toiling. But before then, he was to stay in the garden. The garden was being watered. Yes, there was work, but he was working in rest, not working in a struggle.

You accept what God has called you by speaking it over your life. Speak what He has done. Speak His promises over your life repeatedly. Don’t be tired of speaking. Don’t allow the devil to close your mouth. A closed mouth is a closed destiny. Death and life are in the power of the tongue. Where the word of the king is, there is power! The words you speak have the power to change your destiny and produce your expectations. Keep speaking it over and over. Pretty soon, you will see the manifestations.

Always declare these Words to yourself: I am perfectly created by a perfect God. I am approved, validated, and accepted by God. I am incredibly blessed with every blessing I need for life and godliness. Write it down. Paste it on your wall or mirror and say it over and over to yourself.

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Renew Your Mind, Transform Your Life

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional

Dunamis Seeds Of Destiny 21 April 2024 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche: Renew Your Mind, Transform Your Life

TOPIC: Renew Your Mind, Transform Your Life (Seeds Of Destiny 22 April 2024)

SCRIPTURE: For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee. Proverbs 23:7

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The renewal of the mind equals the transformation of life.

MESSAGE:

Previously, we saw that a man’s mind affects his life.

Today, we shall highlight some impact of the mind on one’s life?

  1. The state of the mind defines the state of life.
    Proverbs 23:7 says:
For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.
The state of the mind defines the state of life. Mentality defines reality.
  1. The renewal of the mind equals the transformation of life.
    Romans 12:1-2 says:
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
You are transformed by the renewal of your mind. The renewal of the mind equals the transformation of life; the renewal of the mind equals the upgrade of life.
  2. A change of mind provokes a change of life’s season.
Your seasons change when your senses change. A change of mind provokes a change of life’s season.
When the prodigal son came to his senses and began to think, then his change came. A change of mind provokes a change of life’s season (Luke 15:17).
  3. God hears and responds to thoughts the same way He hears and responds to prayer.
    Ephesians 3:20 says:
Now unto him that is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.
God does not only hear your prayers; He also hears your thinking. God answers both your asking and your thinking.

Isa 65:24 says:
And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.

God seems to say, “They have not spoken yet, I see their mind, I know their heart. I read their prayers from their heart and answer them.”

REMEMBER THIS: The renewal of the mind equals the transformation of life.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Upgrade your life by renewing your mind.
  2. Give your mind to productive thinking.

PRAYER: Lord, I receive the grace to upgrade my life by renewing my mind. Help me to give my mind to productive thinking, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

FOR FURTHER UNDERSTANDING, GET THIS MESSAGE: THE MIND-THE BATTLE FIELD OF THE REDEEMED.

QUOTE: Our mentality must change to the understanding that the purpose of money is not expenditure but multiplication. Culled from the book, “UNCOMMON KEYS TO FINANCIAL OVERFLOW” by Dr Paul Enenche.

DAILY READING: Esther 2-4.

AMAZING FACT: The world’s smallest jet is the BD-5 Micro. Its wingspan is 14–21 feet and weighs just 358 pounds.

PROPHETIC WORD (DECLARATION): Grace for the productive engagement of the mind be released to you, in Jesus’ Name.

DCLM Daily Manna – Call For The Elders

Pastor W. F. Kumuyi

DCLM Daily Manna 22 April 2024 Devotional by Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — Call For The Elders

TOPIC: Call For The Elders (DCLM Daily Manna 22 April 2024)

KEY VERSE: “Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord” (James 5:14).

TEXT: James 5:13-15 (KJV)

13 Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms.

14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:

15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

MESSAGE:

Darrin Hunt narrated how an elder, a Christian surgeon, in the course of his professional duties used to share spiritual things with the young surgeon and indirectly share the gospel with his patients. “Years ago, when I worked in the hospital’s Emergency Room, the Chief ER doctor, who was also one of my elders in my church, loved to have me help him sew up his patients so we could “discuss” spiritual things between us. Obviously, the patients, who didn’t dare move, were obliged to listen to us. I can still see his grin as we “shared” Christ.”

Naturally some situations in life can be overwhelming for inexperienced people who may tend to panic and give in to perplexity. Apostle James tells us how Christians ought to respond to challenges and difficulties. The first thing the Christian ought to do is pray. In the event of illness, the believer is to reach out to the elders so that they can pray for him. This prayer of faith will not fail as there is an assurance that God will answer and there will be healing and relief.

When we fail to follow this simple rule, we tend to suffer. For many troubled Christians, prayers do not come first. What they think first is to try to find solutions on their own. Their money, wisdom, knowledge, doctors, consultants, connections and counsellors come first. It is when all these seem to have failed and things are beginning to get out of hand that they consider praying and reaching out to approved and anointed ministers of God.

How we need to learn to follow this simple but potent principle that the Lord has given us! This principle is given to us because God answers prayers. As we honour and respect our elders, their prayers of faith will work effectually in our lives.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
Effectual fervent prayers of faith are awesome and irresistible.

TREM Devotional – Constantly Proclaim Who You Are In Christ

Bishop Mike Okonkwo

Wisdom For The Day Devotional 21 April 2024 By Bishop Mike Okonkwo – Constantly Proclaim Who You Are In Christ

TOPIC: Constantly Proclaim Who You Are In Christ (TREM Devotional 21 April 2024)

“We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;” 2 Corinthians 4:13 (KJV)

MESSAGE:

Jesus wants the world to know that the same way the Father loved him is the same way you are loved. All you need to do is look at the ministry of Jesus. No failure. Nothing overwhelmed him. He said I want them to know that the same love you have for me has been given to them. But what is happening? Many believers have not accepted it. What most of us do is; put Jesus on His platform and put ourselves on a different platform. But the Bible says “as He is, so are we…”! You are not anyhow; you are like Christ.

Today’s scripture tells us how to apply and appropriate it. You believe you accept, and you declare it. That is who you are! The Book of Philemon 1:6 says: “That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.” (KJV).

When you wake up in the morning, make your declaration of faith. You can take the Words that have been declared over you, write them down, and declare them over your life. Whether you look like them or not is not relevant. As you declare the Words of faith that come from the scripture, the Holy Spirit will take them and work them out in you.

The Bible says we all, with open faces beholding as in a mirror the glory of God, are being changed into the same image, from glory to glory. It is a process. As you accept your acceptance, suddenly, it will become normal for you. Sometimes, you will not even pray; you just know that the devil has been defeated. This is because you have an understanding.

From now on, I declare that you will walk in power. By this revelation, whatever has molested your life over the years comes to an end now.

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Love-A Key To Fruitful Giving

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional

Dunamis Seeds Of Destiny 21 April 2024 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche: Love – A Key To Fruitful Giving

TOPIC: Love – A Key To Fruitful Giving (Seeds Of Destiny 21 April 2024)

SCRIPTURE: And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing. – 1 Corinthians 13:3.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Your giving holds no value without love. Your giving attracts no profit without love.

MESSAGE:

Our anchor Scripture reveals that a major consequence of lovelessness is the ineffectiveness of the giving covenant.

The Scriptures make it clear that every sower must reap. A sower cannot be a beggar. Giving normally provokes receiving (Genesis 8:22; 2 Corinthians 9:6-7; Luke 6:38; and Acts 20:35).
However, it is very important to note that giving would not provoke corresponding harvest where there is no love.

1 Corinthians 13:3 says:
And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.

This implies that if you empty your bank account for the sake of God and His Kingdom, and give all the money you have to the point of even giving your body to be burned, but you have no love, it profits you nothing.

Your giving holds no value without love. Your giving attracts no profit without love.
This is a serious matter!

You may be a tither, a giver, or a covenant practitioner; but if you have a problem with your spouse that no one can resolve, it profits you nothing. You are only wasting your time and resources.

You may be a foundation member of a church to the point that even when the church was built, you gave half of the money for the project, if you keep malice with someone, you have no profit from your giving.

There are people who make the practice of malice just the way people practice law. Many people enjoy “malice practice” the way lawyers practice law. They can be called “Malice Practitioners” just as we have legal practitioners. These people enjoy a lifestyle of keeping malice. They live by it; they enjoy it. Please refuse to be one of them because that is a fruitless and wasteful lifestyle.

REMEMBER THIS: Your giving holds no value without love. Your giving attracts no profit without love.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Make love a major priority of your life.
  2. Let your sacrifices and giving be powered and propelled by love.

PRAYER: Lord, I ask that You deliver me from loveless sacrifice and giving. Plant Your love in my heart and let it be the basis of my giving, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

FOR FURTHER UNDERSTANDING, GET THIS MESSAGE: THE PLAGUE OF LOVELESSNESS (PART ONE).

DCLM Daily Manna – Shining As Stars

Pastor W. F. Kumuyi

DCLM Daily Manna 21 April 2024 Devotional By Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — Shining As Stars

TOPIC: Shining As Stars (DCLM Daily Manna 21 April 2024)

KEY VERSE: “And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever” (Daniel 12:3).

TEXT: Daniel 12:1-3 (KJV)

1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

MESSAGE:

In a piece contributed by Sermon Central on the Tale of the Star, it is stated that Eusebius, a scholarly church historian of the early fourth century, evidently made a considerable study of the literature available to him and came to this conclusion about the star: “The star was new and a stranger among the usual lights of heaven, a strange star, not one of the many known stars, but being new and fresh.” Although the tale refers to the star that announced the birth of our Saviour, it also illustrates God’s glory that will be bestowed on faithful believers at the end of life.

Just as stars shine brightest in the darkest of nights, so are the beauties and the qualities of the Christian life best revealed in their darkest moments. Human history is full of many such scenes. During the Holocaust, there were many kind-hearted Christians who at the risk of their lives, helped to rescue and hide scores of Jews until they were brought to safety. Some even paid the ultimate price while trying to help others.

Our passage projects into the coming glory for believers after labouring here and standing faithfully to the end. While we await this glorious culmination, hard times and intense opposition will come but we must remain resolute and resilient in our faith as we continue to demonstrate the love of God to people around us.

We must not allow present-day hardships and difficulties to shut our mouths from preaching the gospel or weaken our hands from doing good to others. We need also to support gospel campaign efforts through prayer and financial contributions. This is the secret of the wisdom and shining as stars that our passage teaches today. Are you ready to pay the price to shine as stars?

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
Labour faithfully to shine as stars.

TREM Devotional – As Christ Is, So Are You

Bishop Mike Okonkwo

Wisdom For The Day Devotional 20 April 2024 By Bishop Mike Okonkwo – As Christ Is, So Are You

TOPIC: As Christ Is, So Are You (TREM Devotional 20 April 2024)

“Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.” 1 John 4:17 (KJV)

MESSAGE:

Beloved, as Christ is, so are you. The measure of Christ’s acceptance with God is the measure of your acceptance. What Jesus is before God is who you are before Him. You are well. You are rich. You are at rest. You are full of power. You are successful. You must believe it. Believe that the perfection, the delight, and the joy that Jesus brings to the Father is now imputed to you. It has been put on your account. Christ and you are one. You must accept this truth.

The Book of John 15:9 says, “As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you…” (KJV). The same measure of love is what God has towards you. Continue well in His love. The irrevocable, irreversible, unconditional, blood-bought, iron-clad, extravagant, and excessive love of God for you does not change.

The Book of John 17:18 says, “As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.” (KJV). The same way God sent Jesus is the way He has sent us to the world. The same scripture goes further to say: “And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth. Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe…that they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one;…” John 17:19-23 (KJV).

The glory which the Father gave to Him, He gave to us. Not that He will give to us, but that He has given us. You carry glory. When you accept who He has made you, you become so powerful.

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Changing Your Seasons Of Life

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional

Dunamis Seeds Of Destiny 20 April 2024 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche: Changing Your Seasons Of Life

TOPIC: Changing Your Seasons Of Life (Seeds Of Destiny 20 April 2024)

SCRIPTURE: And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father’s have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! Luke 15:17.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: A change of sense is a change of season.

MESSAGE:

It has been confirmed that a change of sense is a change of season. You are not where you are because the devil is too powerful; you are where you are because of your mind-set.
Like the prodigal son, if you come to your senses, you must come to your changes. The season of poverty and lack in the life of the prodigal son changed when his senses changed. When he came to his senses, he came to his changes.

In July 2007, as a church, we had a massive crusade at the Abuja stadium, and the place was filled with people.

In the month of August of the same year, we did another crusade at the same stadium, and did another one in the month of September.

The rain fell on us on two of the occasions. The government in power at the time said they would not give the facility to church anymore for subsequent crusades. Right there, I made an announcement to the people that we would build our own stadium, and that in our stadium, the rain will not fall on us because there would be roof over our heads. I told them that we would build something bigger than that stadium.

That was what a Spirit-inspired mind said. And in a short while, it came to pass by the building of the Glory Dome. The Lord built it for Himself.

Beloved, it can only become a reality in your life if it crosses your mind. If it is not in your mind, you cannot find it in your life.

I decree that God shall cause great things to cross your mind into your life in Jesus’ Name.

REMEMBER THIS: A change of sense is a change of season.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Like the prodigal son, change your season by changing your mind-set.
  2. Ask God for a productive mind to live a productive life.

DCLM Daily Manna – A Day Like No Other

Pastor W. F. Kumuyi

DCLM Daily Manna 20 April 2024 Devotional By Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — A Day Like No Other

TOPIC: A Day Like No Other (DCLM Daily Manna 20 April 2024)

KEY VERSE: “And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works” (Revelation 20:12).

TEXT: Revelation 20:11-15 (KJV)

11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

MESSAGE:

In a sermon on “The Signs of Divine Judgment” preached recently, Pastor Matthew Kratz narrates the following story that sounds the alarm on the inescapable approaching day of judgment: ”A Scottish lawyer was a wicked man. Once, he hired a horse and, either through accident or ill-usage, killed the animal. Naturally, the owner insisted on being paid its value, together with some compensation for the loss of its use. The man of law acknowledged his liability and said he was perfectly willing to pay, but at the moment he was a little straightened for ready cash. Would the hirer of the animal accept a promissory note? “Certainly,” he said.

The lawyer further said that he must be allowed a long date. “You can fix your own time,” said the creditor. The wicked man then drew the note, making it payable at the Day of Judgment. Eventually, the creditor took the matter to court, and there, in defence, the lawyer asked the judge to look at the note. He did so, and then replied, “The promissory note is perfectly good sir and as this is day of judgment, I decree that you pay tomorrow.”

The inescapable day of final judgment for mankind is emphasised in the passage today. We are confronted with the reality that everyone that has ever lived on earth will that day come to stand before the judgment seat of God and would be judged based on the way they lived on earth. Only those whose names are in the book of life would be spared this judgment. There will be no room for any excuse or appeal against the judgment and no chance for reprieve. All your actions and secrets will be brought into light.

Note that the opinions of men or noise of false preachers cannot alter the unchangeable decree of heaven. The day of judgment will definitely come and only those who have accepted Jesus as Lord and Saviour here will escape the judgment.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
Salvation procures escape from the coming judgment.

Worthy of honour
Power and glory
Jesus the lamb of God
Crowned in majesty
King of all kings
Seated above all names

Jesus the lamb of God
Crowned in majesty
King of all kings
Seated above all names

Hallelujah Hallelujah
A-A-A-Amen
Searched through all wisdom

In him is salvation
Through all generations
