Topic: His Benefits [December 4, 2016]
“… Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s” (Psalm 103:1-5 KJV)
There are a lot of benefits in Christianity. Some are referred to in the above scripture. In the above scripture, I like that word ‘all’ as used in the scripture; “…Who forgiveth all thine inequities;” this means, when you give your life to Christ, all kind of sins are capable of being forgiven; “…who healeth all thine diseases;” this means that no matter the kind of sickness or disease in your body, God can heal you. In fact, it is your divine benefit; “…who redeemeth thy life from destruction.”
Did you know that God daily preserves and keeps us from evil and destruction? Oh yes, He does. If not for the Lord who is on your side, you story would have been different. Do you know that you have a crown on your head? Not only do you have a crown, your crown is wrapped with loving kindness and tender mercies. Above all, He satisfies you with supernaturally prepared meals that rejuvenate and keep you youthful always.
Do not give the devil any loophole to stop you from getting your daily benefits. You have to claim them, no matter what it costs. Claim these benefits through prayer!
