Thought For The Day: When you appreciate God for past victories, He fights and buries your enemies even without you knowing.
Appreciation is an act of expressing one’s gratitude for a favour or kindness received from others. From our anchor scripture above, when David was confronted by Goliath, he began to testify of the past deliverances of God in his life.
Personally, from time to time, I appreciate God for the number of times I came face to face with death that He delivered me. They are numerous. There was a time I travelled to a country in southern Africa and gunmen followed us from the airport and tried to open fire at us. By drastic Divine intervention, we passed through the midst of them and went our way unhurt.
I have had many ghastly road traffic accidents, some were even fatal, but the Lord delivered me from all of them. So, from time to time I recount many of such deliverances God gave me just to appreciate Him.
The truth is, when you appreciate God for past victories, He would handle your battles even before they arrive. He would fight and bury your enemies even before they attempt to hurt you. If God should open the eyes of your spirit and you see the number of witches, wizards and the wicked people He wasted in order to keep you alive, you would be shocked.
Let us appreciate God as frequently as possible for past deliverances and interventions; it is key to future protection and preservation.
Remember This: When you appreciate God for past victories, He fights and buries your enemies even without you knowing.

Prayer: O LORD, help me not to take Your acts in my for granted. I take total delivery of Your preservation agenda for my life in this season, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
