It’s not just the voice or rhythm that make ‘My Purpose’ special, though it is impressive, worshipful and alive. It’s also the lyrics; they draw you into a place of surrender.
Originally from DR Congo, Lydia started singing at the age of 10 in a Sunday school choir called “La Trinité” (which is translated Trinity in French), taking her music seriously after turning 16. By the time she was 17, she had auditioned for the X-factor 2009 and got as far as boot camp.
My Purpose is available on all digital platforms and is a reminder that God created and placed her on earth to impact lives and bless nations but most importantly to worship, honour and glorify Him.
