Earlier in the week, Mali Music announced his anticipated new album, The Transition of Mali, which is due out June 2.
The crooner debuts the brand new vintage-soul styled ballad “Still.” An outstanding bed of lush keys layer the track in perfect harmony for his Gospel influenced vocals, as the Grammy-nominated artist confesses his never-ending love to the woman who captured his heart.
“There’s nowhere else to go / There’s nowhere else to be / Then here in love with you,” he sings. “You know it’s the best for me / Reflections of myself / No shadows in the dark / You hold a light to me now / You say what’s for my heart / That’s why I’ll always be, in love with you / Still, through it all.”
At the end of March, Mali released the album’s first song, “Gonna Be Alright,” which is an empowering anthem for pushing through adversity with faith.
