Renowned Gospel Music Minister Joseph Abioye, popularly known as Abijossy, has recently achieved a significant milestone by becoming a Canadian citizen alongside his wife and children. The artist, affectionately called the “Amuludun of Canada,” originally hails from Nigeria.
The Abijossy family embarked on their Canadian journey in November 2019, initially settling as permanent residents. Choosing Alberta as their home, they first landed in Edmonton and later established themselves in the vibrant city of Calgary.
On December 7, the Abijossy family experienced a memorable moment as they were sworn in as Canadian citizens, marking a new chapter in their lives. This achievement not only reflects their commitment to their new home but also symbolizes the multicultural essence of Canada.
Calgary, Alberta, has witnessed the flourishing of Abijossy’s musical talents since his arrival, contributing to the rich cultural diversity of the region. As he and his family embrace Canadian citizenship, we extend heartfelt congratulations to the Abijossys for reaching this wonderful milestone.
May this new chapter bring them continued success, joy, and fulfillment as they contribute to the cultural tapestry of their adopted country. We wish the Abijossy family all the best in their future endeavors on Canadian soil.
