Popular Nigerian pastor, Kingsley Okonkwo has taken out time to enlighten his followers about forgiveness. He stated that churchgoers are forgiving and unforgiving at the same time.
Taking to X, Kingsley Okonkwo noted that anyone who refuses to forgive another is proving to be better than God.
Kingsley noted that one of the worst things that can happen to a man is to fall into the hands of religious people. This is because they are judgmental.
“Church people are the most forgiven and yet the most unforgiving people at the same time.
We have received the most grace from God and should be most gracious to others.
To not be able to forgive someone that God has forgiven means you are better or more righteous than God.
To insist on seeing someone based on their past while you want God to wipe out yours is foolishness.
One of the worst things in this life is to fall into the hands of religious people, they killed Jesus and are still trying to kill his family”, Kingsley Okonkwo wrote.
