Man is a special creature of God. Man is God’s creative masterpiece because he is the image and likeness of God the creator crafted in beauty and wonder (Psalm 139:14). We are specially created by God to fulfil a special purpose and destiny.
SCRIPTURE: Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Matthew 5:14.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Every child of God is destined to be the light of the world and to shine as a star.
Man is a special creature of God. Man is God’s creative masterpiece because he is the image and likeness of God the creator crafted in beauty and wonder (Psalm 139:14). We are specially created by God to fulfil a special purpose and destiny.
Our anchor Scripture reveals that every child of God is destined to be the light of the world and to shine as a star. Isaiah 60:1 confirms this: Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. The meaning is, as a child of God, you are designed to be a shining star and a burning light; you were created and destined for distinction. You were not calculated for obscurity or insignificant existence.
Now, what other evidence attests to man being a special creature of God? Man was created with great opportunities. As children of God, we were born with Divine opportunities. We are not meant to beg for opportunities. There are opportunities that God has reserved only for His children. So, being born into God’s Spiritual family qualifies a person for Divine opportunities. In Psalms 5:12, the Bible says, For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield. Once a person becomes a child of God, his opportunities in life become natural; favour becomes natural and effortless for him.
Beloved, my counsel is, reject every form of darkness in your life and destiny; make the choice to walk in the realm of divine excellence, opportunities and favour.
Remember this: Every child of God is destined to be the light of the world and to shine as star.

PRAYER: O Lord, I thank You for making me special to You; I am fearfully and wonderfully made, Lord in Jesus’ Name.
