Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – The Strength Of Integrity

Paul Enenche

Dunamis Seeds Of Destiny 14 March 2022 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche: The Strength Of Integrity

TOPIC: The Strength Of Integrity

SCRIPTURE: But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself. Daniel 1:8

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The strength of integrity is the strength of destiny.

Our anchor scripture tells us about Daniel who refused to defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, and that decision enforced his destiny fulfilment (Daniel 6:1-3).

It has been confirmed that integrity is critical to destiny. The strength of integrity is the strength of destiny.

What separates two people is integrity. For example, the eagle and the vulture are birds of the same family. The difference between the eagle and the vulture is in their character. Any time you dream of the eagle, it is a visitation, but to dream of vulture is a nightmare.

The vulture eats corruption; anywhere dead, dirty or smelly things are, there you find the vulture. The stench that can kill attracts the vulture. And that eating of corruption led to the degeneration of its destiny – its neck is long, head is bald, feathers easily pluck-able, very ugly-looking, reproachable, and highly disgusting bird. You would look for stones to chase it away if you find it around you.

The eagle, on the other hand, flies 10,000 feet above sea level. It carries weight that is three times its size. The eagle is married to one mate for life. And it does not eat anything that is corrupt. It goes for fresh meat dripping with blood. This makes him the king of the birds. It is a treasure.

Beloved, whether you would have the destiny of an eagle or the destiny of a vulture is a matter of character. I want you to make up your mind to uphold Godly character so you can have a great destiny. You may not be perfect but be sincere. Be opened to God and ask Him to help you out of any situation that is putting a question mark on your character.

Remember this: The strength of integrity is the strength of destiny.
