Sonnie Badu releases new single titled ‘Hail You’.
Over time, the word “Hail” has given birth to hymn titles, song captions and phrases found in composed Christian lyrics.
Hail The Day That Sees Him Rise, Hail to the Lord’s Anointed, Hail Jesus’ You`re My King, We Hail You, Hail To The King, Hail The Lion Of Judah, We Go Dey Hail Your Name, All Hail King Jesus, All Hail The Power of Jesus Name, and now, Hail You.
The last caption was lifted from a new song by globe-trotting gospel artist of Ghanaian descent, Sonnie Badu, also conference host of the just concluded “The Rock Summit Atlanta.”
So far, three of his gospel albums have made it to digital stores for download, Soundz of Afrika, Colours of Africa: Live in London and Lost in His Glory, with many singles charting from time to time.
“Hail You,” his latest work of praise can be described as listener-friendly and dance evoking.
The reason isn
t far-fetched; its a flavour of Carribean rhythm accompanied by African drums, God-glorifying lyrics and acoustic brilliance, all created in Ghanas own “Groove House Studio.”
