TOPIC: Everything You Need Is In God (TREM Devotional 26 July 2023)
“For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.” Acts 17:28 (KJV)
MESSAGE:
You have the victory over the devil and everything that he can bring against you. Ever before he shows up, your God has already shown up. According to the scripture: “In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth.” (Genesis 1:1 KJV). He has no beginning and He has no end. From everlasting to everlasting, He is God. He does not have birthdays! When He shuts no one opens and when He opens no one shuts. He can kill and He can make alive! He can make and unmake. He can build and destroy. He can wound and heal.
There is no weapon fashioned against you that shall prosper. Even if it has been fashioned it will never prosper. In Christ, you have what it takes to give a black eye to the devil.
Stop giving too much attention to the challenges of life. You will always be overwhelmed until you stop looking at your problems. The devil brings these challenges for one reason. So that you will be focusing on them and turn your eyes away from God. But that is not the way to deal with the problem. When you focus on what is going on in the world today, you will be what I call, head sick. You can’t be looking at your surroundings and looking at God at the same time. You can’t be looking up and looking down at the same time.
You should understand that the way to deal with the devil is that you walk away from him when your heart is overwhelmed. Turn away from the world and walk towards your God. God should always be the focus of your life.
In the past, we have given too much attention to the world and all that the devil has to offer. It is time to return to God and walk away from the world. Everything that you need in life is in God.
