TOPIC: God Does Not Forget His Promises (TREM Devotional 2 October 2023)

“And God heard their groaning, and God remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob”. Exodus 2:23 (KJV)

MESSAGE:

Beloved, I come to tell you today that God does not forget His promises. It may be delayed but it cannot be denied. I have found out that the testimony is always sweetest when you have passed through hell and high waters and you have been written off. Then suddenly, God steps in and you escape like a bird, and they are wondering how it happened.

In the book of Exodus 2:24, the bible tells us that God remembered the covenant He made with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob concerning the children of Israel who had been in bondage for 430 years. Those years were enough to make them think they will not come out of Egypt. They had become used to suffering and bondage. And so, they were not even expecting anything. But God remembered them because He does not forget His promises

According to the book of Luke chapter one, Zachariah and Elizabeth came from the lineage of priests. They were both righteous and walking in all commandments blameless. Yet they had no child. And had grown old! Often, God will allow every flesh to be silent so that He will take the glory because He does not want to share His glory with another. So, don’t you dare write yourself off. God will visit you and you will testify! When the angel came to Zachariah, he doubted. And God said with or without you, it is already predetermined in heaven. Elizabeth hid herself for five months but after then the miracle spoke for her. Your miracle will speak for you. You are not going to talk about it. People are going to see it and say what is this?

God cannot abandon you. In our world today, it seems as if the best thing to do is to do what others are doing in other not to fail. You can’t fail because you are a new creation. He will surely visit you as He has promised. When God remembers you, the miracle will speak.
