TOPIC: God Has Established A New Order (TREM Devotional 4 April 2023)
“This is the covenant that I will make with them After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, And in their minds will I write them; And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.” Hebrews 10:16-17 (KJV)
MESSAGE:
In Christ, God initiated a new order. The old way was not working, and He decided to set it aside. God said: “I am bringing a new way. I will pay the price by myself. Whatever they are owing I will pay it. So that I will be the just and justifier of those who sin. I will do it legally. The soul that sins shall die. Yes. But I will die in their stead.
When Jesus came to the cross and died, the devil was celebrating and clapping. He didn’t understand that God was establishing a new order. “But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.” (1 Corinthians 2:7-8 KJV)
When the Lord said He will die in our stead, the devil was happy. He thought at least that settles that. Somebody has died. But what he did not know was that there was already a mechanism built into Christ to resurrect. Christ resurrected and came back to enforce our total liberation because when a will is written, there must first be the death of the testator. Christ died and then rose and said I will supervise the execution of the will. Can you now see why you cannot fail?
It is impossible for you to fail because everything about you has been paid for. You are not under any accusation. You are not under any condemnation. Everything about you has been fully paid for. You cannot be sick again. You cannot be stranded again. You cannot be poor again. You cannot die again. Christ in you is the hope of glory.
Always walk with the consciousness that you are in Christ. Have an ‘in-Christed’ mentality. That is the new order.
