Wisdom For The Day Devotional 17 November 2022 By Bishop Mike Okonkwo – Jesus Is The Game Changer

TOPIC: Jesus Is The Game Changer (TREM Devotional 17 November 2022)

“And straightway his ears were opened, and the string of his tongue was loosed, and he spake plain.” Mark 7:35 (KJV)

MESSAGE:

When Jesus steps into your situation, whatever was shut will open. From our text as soon as Jesus said Ephphatha: be opened! The deaf man who had an impediment in his speech was able to speak plainly. Clearly, everything changed because Jesus is the game-changer. I want to tell you today that Jesus is stepping into your case, he’s taking it personally, he’s stepping into your situation, he’s stepping into your circumstance, and he’s stepping into your challenge. You can’t remain the same again. That man’s life was turned around.

I want you to know that by the authority of heaven, whatever is shut against you is opening. The Bible says and straightaway his ears opened, and the string of his tongue was loosed. It happened immediately. The change was instantaneous. Why? Jesus, the game-changer stepped in. Once he steps into any case, he will change that situation for good. Jesus has stepped into your case. You will testify and your testimony will speak loud and clear. You are coming out bigger, better, and stronger. Nothing works against a believer and every situation is working in your favour. So I encourage you to keep holding onto His word and walk in it because the word of God has no margin for failure, it can never fail.

The Bible tells us that heaven and earth will pass away but the word of God will never pass away (Matthew 24:35). The word of God is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path (Psalm 119:130). It is a lamp to show you where you are and a light to show you where you are going. Psalm 119:18 says, “open thou my eyes that I may behold the wondrous things from Your law.” This means that there are wonders in the word of God. Walking in the word is walking in God. When you walk in the word, you are walking in God, and you cannot lose when you are walking in God? How can anything be shut down for you when you are walking in God? I see an opening in your life, I see an opening in your situation, I see an opening in your circumstance.

DAILY CONFESSIONS: November 13th – November 19th

Thanks be unto God who always causes me to triumph in Christ and makes manifest His Knowledge by me in every place because I am the light of the world and the salt of the earth. I refuse to faint under any circumstance and though my outward man perishes, I know that my inward man is renewed day by day. (2 Cor 2:14, Matt 5:13-14, 2 Cor 4:17)

I shall lay-up gold as dust and as the stones of the brook. Yea the Almighty shall be my defence and I shall have plenty of silver The Lord has made me a blessing; I am blessed going out and blessed coming in. He will cause the shower to come down in its season; there shall be showers of blessing. The trees of my field will yield their fruit and the earth shall yield her increase and I shall be safe in the land. (Job 22:24-25, Deut. 28:3, Lev. 26:4)

Every day and in every way I am getting better: spiritually, physically, financially, mentally, morally, and in all my endeavours.

I am called for a purpose. I will fulfill this purpose and I will arrive at God’s ordained destiny for my life. Nothing will cut me short. I will make a formidable impact in my world for the Kingdom.

IT IS MY WEEK OF ACCELERATION!
