Wisdom For The Day Devotional 11 February 2024 By Bishop Mike Okonkwo – No Fatal Failure For The Believer

TOPIC: No Fatal Failure For The Believer (TREM Devotional 11 February 2024)

“And I will make them and the places round about my hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing.” Ezekiel 34:26 (KJV)

MESSAGE:

When we talk about rain, we are speaking about abundance, we are speaking about blessing, and we are speaking about increase. Whenever you see rain in the scriptures, it speaks about blessings, not about lack. So, it is about increase and abundance. In this context, rain represents the continual descent of anything in large quantities.

As a believer, you are perpetually under the shower of God’s blessings. The believer cannot experience a fatal failure by reason of the blessing. But oftentimes, because of unforeseen events, we tend to discount ourselves. But you are a part of God’s grand design! You are not an appendage! You are not just hanging in there! God is not just tolerating you! He strategically chose you. So how can you lose? How can the devil tell you that it is over with you?

You are the beloved of God. He chose you! And He has you covered, past, present, and future. Everything about you is already covered. So, it is an aberration for you to write yourself off. There is no fatal failure for a believer. A believer can never have a fatal failure.

According to the scriptures: “Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: For the LORD upholdeth him with his hand.” (Psalm 37:24 KJV)

“For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again.” (Proverbs 24:16 KJV). “And the ransomed of the LORD shall return …” (Isaiah 35:10 KJV)

A bounce-back mechanism is built into you the day you gave your life to Christ. You will always return from every failure, every disappointment, and every challenge in life. You can never, never be stranded in life. It will rain again in your desert.

Whichever way you turn, you win. Head or tail, you win. You are under the shower of blessings. No matter the plan of the wicked, you will never be stranded. The land will produce for you. And your ground will celebrate you.

DAILY CONFESSION

This is the day which the Lord hath made; I will rejoice and be glad in it. I am blessed coming in; I am blessed going out, there shall no evil befall me, neither shall any plague come nigh my dwelling, for God has given His angels charge over me. They keep me in all my ways. No weapon formed against me will prosper, for my God will not allow evil plots and false accusations to prevail against me. But whatever I do I will prosper in them because I am like a tree planted by the rivers of water which brings forth its fruits in season, (Psa. 118:24, Deu. 28:6, Psa. 91:10-11, Isa 54:17, Psa. 1:1-3).

I lack no good thing because My God supplies all my needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. I have all sufficiency in all things and abound to all good works, for my God has made all grace abound toward me. Today, I am filled with the love of God. I am filled with the joy of the Lord and I am filled with the peace of God, (Phil. 4:19, 2Cor 9:8, Gal. 5:22).

Every day and in every way I am getting better: spiritually, physically, financially, mentally, morally, and in all my endeavours.

I am called for a purpose; I will fulfill this purpose and I will arrive at God’s ordained destiny for my life. Nothing will cut me short. I will make a formidable impact in my world for the Kingdom. Therefore, I declare that I am a person of integrity, I am spiritually fervent, and I am accountable in all I do because I’ve been raised to live the Kingdom Life here on earth.

It is my day of Great and Mighty Things!
