Wisdom For The Day Devotional 25 November 2022 By Bishop Mike Okonkwo – Stay With The Word

TOPIC: Stay With The Word (TREM Devotional 25 November 2022)

“And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation: the fear of the LORD is his treasure.” Isaiah 33:6 (KJV)

MESSAGE:

As we come to a very critical stage of our lives, my only counsel to you is to stay in the word. Put your eyes on the word. We are seeing the type of contradictions of life that we could have never imagined. Look at what is happening all over the world. If care is not taken, you will think that the situation is completely hopeless. That’s why I have come with this word of encouragement today for someone who is overwhelmed by the things he is experiencing. Stay in the word. What the word of God cannot give to you does not exist and you do not need it. That is why your focus must always be on the word of God.

The Bible says in Acts 20: 32 “And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified”. Your only hope is in the word of God. The writer of the book of wisdom said “My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; Keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them and health to all their flesh”.

Keep to the word. Beware of what people are saying. Beware of what social media is saying. Beware of all the voices you are hearing around you and focus on the word of God. It will not only give you life, it will also give you good health. There are too many voices all over the place begging for your attention and trying to distract you. There are voices offering different types of solutions that are not really there. Stay with the word and fortify your heart with it. Isaiah 33:6 tells us that wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation. The fear of the Lord is his treasure. You need the word of God more than ever before.

DAILY CONFESSIONS: November 20th – November 26th

The Lord has opened the heavens, the storehouse of His bounty, to send rain on my land in this new month and to bless my home and all the works of my hands and I will lend unto many nations, and I will not borrow (Deu 28: 12,).

I know that all things work together for my good because I love God, and because I am called according to His purpose. In everything I give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning me (Rom. 8:28; 1 Thess. 5:18). The Lord has assured me that He will never leave me nor forsake me, so that I can boldly say, The Lord is my helper; and I shall not be afraid. (Hebrews 13:5-6)

Every day and in every way I am getting better: spiritually, physically, financially, mentally, morally, and in all my endeavours.

I am called for a purpose. I will fulfill this purpose and I will arrive at God’s ordained destiny for my life. Nothing will cut me short. I will make a formidable impact in my world for the Kingdom.

IT IS MY WEEK OF ACCELERATION!
