Following the viral success of ‘My Worship’ which racked up one million views within two months of its release, US worship artist Phil Thompson unveiled the highly anticipated video for his new single ‘You Ransomed Me’.
“one of the most simple songs I have ever written, I wrote this song during a season of my life where the realization of God’s grace became very heavy to me..” Phil said
You Ransomed Me is the first release from Thompson’s second live recording. The song is an expression of gratitude for God’s grace and love even when we feel undeserving of it.
Written in 30 minutes on the back of a telephone conversation with his brother about the need for believers to place a greater emphasis on gratefulness for the sacrifice that Christ made on the
cross, Phil says that ‘You Ransomed Me’ is a song of complete appreciation for the grace of God in his life.
