Topic: You Are Under God’s Canopy [December 18, 2016]
“Israel was holiness unto the Lord, and the first fruits of His increase; all that devour Him shall offend; evil shall come upon them saith the Lord.” (Jeremiah 2:3)
To “devour” means “to eat up and swallow”. This means that God will cause evil to rest upon your enemies who have swallowed up your blessings and breakthroughs; and He shall cause them to vomit it.
The above scripture indicates that the people of God are the Lord’s first fruit.
As a believer, you are under the covering of God and He watches over you. He knows the number of hairs on your head, He knows everything that concerns you.
You are the apple of God’s eye. Anyone who attempts to touch you attempts to touch God.
Note however that, for God to take you as His priority, you must take Him as your priority. He must be the number one in your life. His place shall no other contend.
