Topic: Be Persuaded [December 15, 2016]
“He maketh wars to cease….; He breaketh the bow and cutteth the spear in sunder; He burneth the chariot in fire, “Ps. 46:9.
To know means, to be persuaded; to be convinced about something without any shadow of doubt: to assert with certainty.
Now, what do we know? We know that all things, that is, everything that happens to us is working for our good but on two conditions:
- That we love God.
- That we are in his purpose (in other words, we are doing the will of God in spirit and in truth).
- When these two conditions are satisfied, then we know without any shadow of doubt that no matter the circumstances, everything including challenges, disappointments, failures of the past, etc. is working together for our good.
What you don’t know is preventing you from what you need in your life.
