Evang . African Joy, an inspirational praise and worship minister releases her latest single titled ‘Covenant Keeping God,’ a heartfelt song of gratitude inspired by her personal experiences of God’s faithfulness.
She has released over four albums and recently dropped two new singles, ‘Covenant Keeping God‘ and ‘Yahweh Answers.’ In celebration of her upcoming birthday in February 2025, she is set to release another powerful single, giving honor to God for His faithfulness.
While she has shared platforms with renowned Gospel artists such as Chioma Jesus, Wisdom K, Joe Praiz, Mr M & Revelation, Prince Emmanuel, Preye Odede, Prosper, Steven Crown, Sinach, and many others, Evang. African Joy has also ministered alongside great men of faith, including Pastor George Izunwa, Pastor Jerry Eze, Pastor David Ibiyeomie, Dr. Paul Enenche, Pastor Isaac Oyedepo, and other respected spiritual leaders.
Her love for Jesus is evident in her ministry and her heart for giving. She encountered Christ at the age of eight and has remained committed to spreading the gospel through both music and preaching. This dedication led her to establish her gospel music band, Testimony Gospel Band, under her stage name, African Joy. She is also the lead pastor of All Nations Worship & Healing Ministries Int’l, headquartered in Port Harcourt, and the president of All Nations Praise & Worship School.
Evang. African Joy is also a passionate preacher of the gospel of Jesus Christ and the visionary behind Vision 20,000 Souls for Christ, a grassroots evangelical outreach launched in 2022. Through this initiative, she has taken the message of Jesus into various riverine communities, touching numerous lives across different local government areas in Rivers State.
Beyond ministry, Evang. African Joy is actively involved in trade and commerce as the MD/CEO of AJ Herbs & Spices Intl, a company dedicated to promoting natural health solutions. Her passion for helping others extends to the less privileged, and this year, in celebration of her birthday on February 3, 2025, she is giving back to her community by supporting 250 widows and indigent individuals.
She also currently serves as the National Vice President and State Coordinator of Music Ministers Connect and has remained diligent and consistent in ministry for over 15 years.
The story behind her latest single ‘Covenant Keeping God‘ involves her carrying her first child for 12 months with no medical explanation and witnessing the miraculous revival of her second child in the womb after doctors had declared the baby dead, she saw the hand of God in her life. Years later, after a long wait, God blessed her with a son named Samuel, fulfilling His promise to her. She has also experienced divine healing from a severe heart condition, defying medical predictions that she would be unable to sing for three years.
Through financial struggles, when her family’s livelihood crashed, she held onto God’s promises. Today, not only has her situation changed, but she now sponsors children’s education through a scholarship initiative, giving back as an expression of gratitude for God’s kindness.
Evang. African Joy’s journey is a testament to God’s unfailing love. Her music is a reflection of her deep faith and commitment to glorifying God. Indeed, He is a covenant-keeping God who answers prayers!
