Oyindamola Adejumo Ayibiowu releases a brand new video titled “Emi O Mo” (Mystery) to bless her fans allover the world. The beautiful video was shot in South Africa at Hartbeespoort dam, a location close to Pretoria and Johannesburg .

The video was produced by Pepperest Pictures, a South African based film production outfit.

“Emi o mo” literally means “I can’t explain it”.

The song talks about the many  mighty wonders of God that surround us yet which we can’t explain how they work. How the stars are held firmly in the sky without falling, the unmovable foundations of the mountains,  the mysterious movements of the wind, the undepleted oceans and even the cock that crows on the dot of the hour.

The virgin birth of Jesus Christ is the greatest mysterious wonder ever heard!

God is willing and able to solve all our many problems by the same mighty wonder power and we don’t need to know how he is going to do it. The song end by saying ” those who believed yesterday received their miracles, earnestly believe today and receive your own miracle!”

Christmas Is Christ Alive In You ~ Pastor Chris Oyakilome

pastor-chris-oyakhilome

Topic: Christmas Is Christ Alive In You [Sunday, December 25th]

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly (John 10:10).

The exciting thing about Christmas is the purpose for which Jesus was born; the reason He came. He came that you might have life—the God-life—to the full. Jesus didn’t come to establish a new religion; neither did He come to show us an example of how to live the good life. He came to make us sons of God. John 1:12 says, “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.”

God’s desire was for us to have His kind of life, and His plan, according to the Scriptures, was for Jesus to give us this life. 1 John 5:11-12 says, “And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.”

The Apostle Paul referenced something very powerful and significant about the Christ-life in us in Colossians 1:26-27. He writes, “Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.”

Have you ever tried to imagine what Christ living in a man really means? If Jesus Christ, who opened blind eyes, unstopped deaf ears, gave the lame new legs to walk, healed the maimed, and raised the dead, truly lives in you, what should that make you? It means you’re invincible; a superman; and an extraordinary success; a victor forever! This is what makes Christmas special; it’s Christ alive in you. He came for you, to live in you, and to live through you.

PRAYER

Dear Father, I thank you for the gift of your Son Jesus, whom you sent to give me eternal life. I have eternal life in my spirit, because I’ve received Christ. Christ in me means glory in my life; it means divinity revealed and expressed in, and through me. I’m the expression of the beauties and righteousness of Christ, bringing wholeness, sanity, and salvation to my world, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Further Study: || John 15:5-6 I am the vine, ye [are] the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. 6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast [them] into the fire, and they are burned. ||

|| Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. ||

Benefits Of Christmas ~ Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor

Topic: Benefits Of Christmas [December 25, 2016]

“For unto us a child is born, unto us a child is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called: wonderful, counselor, the mighty God, the everlasting Father, the Prince of peace.” (Isaiah 9:6)

The birth of Jesus was a miracle; a miracle is God intervening in the affairs of men. The angel looked at Mary and said, “you shall conceive and bring forth a son and His name shall be called Jesus. He shall be great…” Mary stopped the angel and asked, “how shall this thing be? How can a woman be pregnant without knowing a man?” And the angel said that with God nothing shall be impossible. This is the miracle of Christmas.

For your character to change is a miracle. You were a thief before but no more. If your old life dominates you, the Holy Ghost needs to come upon you. The power of the highest needs to over shadow you. It takes the power of God to change our nature.

When Jesus was born, wise men came from the east to look for Him. The fools sat at home. The wise men sought for Jesus. Wise men are still seeking for Jesus today. Fools will tell you that there is no God. Fools will say “who is Jesus? He was a man like me; you can go through life anyway.”

The wise men saw the star. May you see the star today, the star is still shining. When Jesus was about to be born, Mary and Joseph went to an inn but the inn keeper said there was no room. If the man knew who was about to be born, he would not have said no room. If he knew that the savior of the world was to be born in his hotel, he would have given his bedroom. Jesus wants to be born in your heart. Humble yourself and let Christ be born in your heart. Do not destroy yourself with pride.

FURTHER READING: Luke 1:26-38

WORDS OF WISDOM: Humble yourself and let Christ be born in your heart.
PRAYER/CONFESSION: Oh Lord, Christmas is a miracle. The devil was given a surprise; you did not do it the normal way. If you could bring Jesus when everything was against it, I believe today I have found favour with you. The miracle of Christmas can happen in my life. My life can still change. Spirit of God, power of God, come upon me in the name of Jesus.

A Time To Forget ~ Kenneth Copeland

Topic: A Time To Forget [December 25, 2016]

Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Jesus saith unto him…Until seventy times seven. – Matthew 18:21-22

Remember when…? That’s a question we hear a lot this time of year. Reminiscing with family and friends, we browse through Christmases gone by, enjoying the memories until inevitably, we stumble across the memories we would rather forget.

Suddenly, the pain comes rushing back. The sting of a parent’s criticism, the broken promise of a friend, the rejections, the disappointments, the heartaches….

What should we do with memories like that? Do we have to drag them along, like so much baggage, from year to year?

No. We can leave them behind. In fact, we must leave them behind. And there’s only one way to do it—through forgiveness.

Forgiving someone sounds like a simple thing to do. Yet few of us actually do it. We treat forgiveness as if it were one of life’s additional options, something we can take or leave alone. But it’s not. It’s a basic requirement for every believer. In fact, as far as God is concerned, unforgiveness is wickedness. And in Matthew 18, Jesus tells a parable that illustrates the terrible consequences of it. The parable involves a servant who owed his lord a debt equivalent to millions of dollars. When the debt came due, he pleaded with his master, “Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay thee all” (verse 26). His master was so moved that he canceled the entire debt!

Soon after, that same servant sought out a man who owed him $15. Finding him unable to pay, he ignored the man’s pleas for mercy and had him cast into prison.

When his lord heard about it, he was incensed. He called him a wicked servant and delivered him to the tormentors until he paid all that was due.

Look again at the size of that unforgiven debt. Fifteen dollars. The little debts are the ones that most often trip us up. The petty resentments between husband and wife, between brother and sister. Tiny bits of unforgiveness that seem too insignificant to bother with. Beware. Those are the kinds of debts Satan uses to torment you.

After all, Jesus paid off a mountain of debts for you. You can afford to be generous about the nickel and dime debts of others.

Spend time with the Holy Spirit, allowing Him to reveal the unforgiveness in you. Then repent and release it. Make this Christmas more than just a time for remembering. Make it a time to forget.

He Who Answers ~ Pastor William Kumuyi

Topic: He Who Answers [December 25, 2016]

Text: 2 Chronicles 1:7-17

Key Verse: “In that night did God appear unto Solomon, and said unto him, Ask what I shall give thee” (2 Chronicles 1:7).

Solomon’s prosperous and peaceful era as the king of Israel begins with his memorable encounter with the Lord, Who gave him a blank cheque: “Ask what I shall give thee”. Yet with a child-like heart, unpolluted by the later lustful and idolatrous craving, Solomon simply asked for wisdom and knowledge to make him please God in service to His people. He did not ask for worldly riches or fame as others would. Nor did He ask God to wreak vengeance on his enemies.

The Bible says in 1 Kings 3:10, that the young king’s “speech pleased the LORD” Who went ahead to give him such enormous wealth and “the king made silver and gold at Jerusalem as plenteous as stones, and cedar trees made he as the sycomore trees that are in the vale for abundance”, in addition to “a wise and understanding heart; so that there was none like thee before thee, neither after thee shall any arise like unto thee” (1 Kings 3:12). It was not the first time God had given those He delights in more than what they desire. At a point in his life, when David was fleeing from Saul, his hide-out in Ziklag was attacked by the Amalekites who carried away his wives and looted his property. A distressed David went to God desiring to know two things. Should he pursue the invaders and should he overtake them? God granted his request and more: He made him “recover all without fail” (1 Samuel 30:8). When we ask in the name of Jesus according to the will of God, His loving nature obliges Him to give even beyond our wishes.

The reason is that when He grants such petitions, it empowers us to partner with Him and to work with heaven for His glory. God answers our prayers so He will be eminently honoured. As others see His goodness in us through the nine-fold fruit of the Spirit we exhibit, they will be inspired and encouraged to come to terms with God.my ways as a check not to go back to that dismal past”. Jesus Christ delivered us from a greater burden: the excruciating body of death. Apostle Paul traces the work of salvation by faith in Jesus our Lord to the time of the covenant God sealed with Abraham when He promised him a seed. The fulfilment of the promise was based on God’s mercy, His Grace, not our fulfilment of the law. Nor was the law a condition for the working out of the promise. When Christians realise this, our stand shall exceed the sobriety and circumspection of the man in our story. We “shall serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling”. We shall preach the gospel to all creatures and in all nations. If all the world is tarnished with sin, we shall vow not to join the multitude.

If all the world forsakes holiness and opts to drink from the cup of idolatry and iniquity, true believers must stand out in righteousness and show forth the praise of God Who has delivered them from darkness into His marvellous light.

Thought for the day: The more we receive from God, the more light we should be to the world.

Be Diligent ~ Pastor E.A Adeboye

open-heaven-2016

Topic: Be Diligent [Sunday 25, December 2016]

Memorise: The thoughts of the diligent tend only to plenteousness; but of every one that is hasty only to want. – Proverbs 21:5

Read: Proverbs 6:6-11 (KJV)

6 Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise:

7 Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler,

8 Provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest.

9 How long wilt thou sleep, O sluggard? when wilt thou arise out of thy sleep?

10 Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep:

11 So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth, and thy want as an armed man.

Bible in One Year: Leviticus 24:17-26:13, Psalms 135

MESSAGE:

Diligence can be defined as conscientious hard work and perseverance, particularly with regards to your relationship with God. The Bible presents diligence in a highly favourable manner, which clearly shows that God loves hardworking people but hates the lazy ones. When He looks for people to use for assignments, He chooses hardworking people. If you see a lazy and nonchalant fellow occupying an ecclesiastical position, ask him how he got there because God has no business with lazy bones. Even when a person becomes mad, that state of insanity does not take away hard work from the fellow. When you observe mad men, you will know those who were hard-working and those who were lazy. The lazy ones will sit all day long or scavenge in one location for virtually the whole day, but the hardworking ones will go far distances, even travelling several kilometres on foot. Very hardworking mad fellows are possible candidates of God’s mercy. If you see them, pray for them and the Lord will deliver them.

Diligence results in a rich harvest and links you up with the high and mighty in the society. That is why Jesus, in Mark 5:1-20, came all the way to a graveyard in search of a mad fellow, bypassing other people in the process. It was because that mad man was a diligent fellow and Jesus knew that after his deliverance, he would use his energy and diligence to serve the Lord. Hence, Jesus delivered him and he immediately became an evangelist, combing the whole country for Jesus.

Similarly, you need to use the temperament that God gave you to serve Him, for example, if you are an extrovert, God wants you to use that extroverted nature to reach out to people, go from place to place speaking for God and leading souls to Christ. If you were extroverted before you were saved but thereafter you became introverted and hardly speak with anyone, you are getting something wrong. One reason God saved you was because of your extroverted nature which He expects you to use for the increase of His Kingdom. Paul was an extrovert and worked for Satan, but after his conversion, he worked much more for Jesus, touring different countries for the Lord. Are you adequately engaging your temperaments? Are you diligently handling the Kingdom business?

Prayer point: Father, please let my work bring maximum benefit to the Kingdom of God in Jesus’ name.

Open Heavens Daily Devotional guide was written by Pastor E.A. Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, one of the largest evangelical church in the world and also the President of Christ the Redeemer’s Ministries.

The Real Reason For Christmas ~ Pastor Chris Oyakilome

pastor-chris-oyakhilome

Topic: The Real Reason For Christmas [Saturday, December 24th]

According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue (2 Peter 1:3).

Christmas is the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ. Christ, the Messiah came in the flesh; He came to live amongst us (and now in our hearts). Christianity is the divine life of Christ operative in a human person. To be a Christian means Christ has taken up His abode in your spirit; you’ve become God’s dwelling place; His living headquarters.

This is what Jesus made possible for us. He didn’t come just to die for our sins, but to give us the God-kind of life. God made us humans but wanted us to have His kind of life. His plan, according to the Scriptures, was that Jesus would be the one to give us that life, and that we should receive it through faith.

Jesus said “For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;” (John 5:26). 1 John 5:11-12 says, “And thisis the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.” You’ve been called to the transcendent life in Christ. The life in you is immune to infection, because it’s divine; it’s the God-life. No wonder we’re called associates of the God-kind; partakers of the divine nature (2 Peter 1:4).

This is what humanity needs—the life of Christ. That life is imparted into the spirit of anyone who receives Christ Jesus as Lord. The natural man, in all his goodness and self-righteousness, is empty until he receives this glorious life of Christ. You can become a partaker of this supernatural life right now by asking Jesus to be the Lord of your life. That’s why Hecame: to give you eternal life and make you one with God; and that’s the reason for Christmas.

CONFESSION

The life of God is working in me; in every fiber of my being, in every cell of my blood and in every bone of my body. Therefore, I’m an overcomer, victorious and triumphant over sickness, disease, and the negative systems of this world. I reign in life by Jesus Christ. Hallelujah!

Further Study: || Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. ||

|| John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. ||

|| John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have [it] more abundantly. ||
