Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Living A Life Of Impact And Influence

Paul Enenche

Dunamis Seeds Of Destiny 25 September 2023 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche: Living A Life Of Impact And Influence

TOPIC: Living A Life Of Impact And Influence (Seeds Of Destiny 25 September 2023)

SCRIPTURE: For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption: Acts 13:36

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: If there is no one learning from you, it is possible that your life is wasting.

MESSAGE:

It has been confirmed that the value of your life is the impact you make in the lives of others. We are created to impact our generation. We exist to show the world through our impact, who our God is.

You see, as a child of God, someone must be drawing from your life because of your impact and influence. Someone must be benefitting from your life, physically, mentally or spiritually.

The truth is, if there is no one learning from you, it is possible that your life is wasting.

As a young lady, is there any younger lady who is saying concerning you, “I want to be like that sister? I like her fire and passion.”

I remember when I was in the University, there was a young man who repented and gave his life to Jesus Christ.

Wherever I stood to pray in the medical student’s fellowship gathering, he would stand beside me to pray.

One day, I asked him, “What are you doing?”

“I am just observing you. I want to pray like you are praying,” he answered.

Today, that young man is a pastor and he is doing very well.
I remember in those days in the university, people would just come to our room. When I asked, “What did you come for?” They would say, “I just came to catch the atmosphere.” This was because the atmosphere of the place was a prayer atmosphere; the atmosphere of God’s Presence.

In your life, there should be someone who would look at you and say, “Please, show me how to move; show me how to be a successfully married man; show me how to combine academics and spirituality, and not fail in any of them.”

Beloved, you must make up your mind to live a life of impact.

REMEMBER THIS: If there is no one learning from you, it is possible that your life is wasting.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Make up your mind to live a life of impact and influence.
  2. Give yourself to prayer consistently so you can impact your world.

PRAYER: Thank You Lord for Your Word to me today. I ask for the grace to impact my generation for You, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

FOR FURTHER UNDERSTANDING, GET THIS MESSAGE: GLORY THROUGH DEDICATION.

QUOTE: It is confirmed by research and in Scripture that when a man knows how to get money and opportunities, and also knows how to manage them well, through savings, investments and generational impact, resources will flow in his direction. DAILY READING: Micah 3-5.

AMAZING FACT: More than half of your bones are located in the hands, wrists, feet, and ankles.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION/WORD: May God use your life to positively affect and influence your generation in Jesus’ Name.

DCLM Daily Manna – Remember The Last Day

Pastor W. F. Kumuyi

DCLM Daily Manna 25 September 2023 Devotional By Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — Remember The Last Day

TOPIC: Remember The Last Day (DCLM Daily Manna 25 September 2023)

KEY VERSE: “Rejoice, O young man, in thy youth; and let thy heart cheer thee in the days of thy youth, and walk in the ways of thine heart, and in the sight of thine eyes: but know thou, that for all these things God will bring thee into judgment” (Ecclesiastes 11:9).

TEXT: Ecclesiastes 11:7-10 (KJV)

7 Truly the light is sweet, and a pleasant thing it is for the eyes to behold the sun:

8 But if a man live many years, and rejoice in them all; yet let him remember the days of darkness; for they shall be many. All that cometh is vanity.

9 Rejoice, O young man, in thy youth; and let thy heart cheer thee in the days of thy youth, and walk in the ways of thine heart, and in the sight of thine eyes: but know thou, that for all these things God will bring thee into judgment.

10 Therefore remove sorrow from thy heart, and put away evil from thy flesh: for childhood and youth are vanity.

MESSAGE:

A man was a terror in an agrarian set-up. Whenever people were having public functions like burials or weddings, they offered him some cash with a goat to placate him. He visited anyone that did not consult him with wrath. He used his evil power to make rain fall to disrupt public functions. After years of inflicting pains on the people, he was afflicted with a strange illness that later claimed his life. The man died without the opportunity of repenting and forsaking all his evil deeds.

The end of this man reflects the central message for meditation today. Our text first portrays the beauty of light and the desire of human beings to behold it. It also enjoins us to always remember the day of darkness. Specifically, it warns the youth against living in contravention of the commandments of God. While it emphasises the resolve of God to judge every man according to their deeds, the text challenges the youth to put away all forms of fleshly and worldly lusts because such amount practically to nothing when the day of judgment shall come upon them.

No matter how long we live in bliss, opulence and wealth in this world, the day of darkness shall surely come upon the living, which signifies the end of every man’s life. It also denotes the day when the mortal shall take his place in the grave. Every departed soul shall face the realities of his deeds on earth, for it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this, the judgment (Hebrews 9:27).

Since the Lord shall judge every man according to his deeds, the onus is on believers to warn the backslidden and those who have not forsaken their sin that the day of reckoning is near. They should turn to Jesus before it is too late. The unfruitful Christians should also be redirected into the Vineyard for productive labour for the Lord.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
Live each day in cognisance of the last day.

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Life-A Mirror Of What You Give It

Paul Enenche

Dunamis Seeds Of Destiny 24 September 2023 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche: Life – A Mirror Of What You Give It

TOPIC: Life – A Mirror Of What You Give It (Seeds Of Destiny 24 September 2023)

SCRIPTURE: Give, and it shall be given unto you; … Luke 6:38.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Life gives back to you what you give to it. We receive in return what we give to life.

MESSAGE:

Life has been confirmed to be a reflection of what you give it. Life gives back to you what you give to it. We receive in return what we give to life.

This means, if you are good, people would be good to you; but if you are mean, people would be mean to you also. A man must surely reap what he sows.

Now, let me tell you a story: One day, someone told his neighbour that there was a particular town where people do not smile with each other at all. He said, “In this town, everyone frowns at each other. Everyone wears a depressive appearance.”

His neighbour responded, “Really? Alright! I will go to that town. Please take me there.”

So, they went to the town. As soon as they entered the town, the neighbour started smiling and greeting everyone from the entry point. He smiled for everyone he saw. He greeted the people he saw, “Hello! How are you?” with a smile. And everyone he greeted with smiles smiled back at him immediately.

He went to that town to confirm if there was anyone who smiles in that town. And he discovered that for every single person he smiled at, he received the harvest of smiles on the spot. This is how life should be.

This is a lesson for all of us. You must remember that what you give to life is what you receive from it. We receive in return what we give.

My counsel is, sow the seed of smiles, thanksgiving, appreciation, goodness, love, favour, blessing and you will receive a harvest of what you sow. You must be blessed when you bless others. You will surely be favoured when you favour others.

REMEMBER THIS: Life gives back to you what you give to it. We receive in return what we give to life.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Make up your mind to sow quality and positive seeds into the lives of people.
  2. Refuse to sow negative seeds to avoid bad harvest.

PRAYER: Lord, I receive the grace to sow positive and quality seeds into the lives of people. Help me to be a reflection of You, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

FOR FURTHER UNDERSTANDING, GET THIS MESSAGE: BE A CHRISTIAN FIRST – TAKE HEED TO YOURSELF.

QUOTE: Place great priority on giving to God the greatest and the best in your life. Never give to God that which costs you nothing. And never give to God that which you know is not good enough for Him. Culled from the book, “21 UNCOMMON KEYS TO FINANCIAL OVERFLOW” by Dr Paul Enenche.

DAILY READING: Jonah 4-Micah 2.

AMAZING FACT: Blue whale’s tongues can weigh as much as an elephant. Their hearts can also weigh almost a ton and only need to beat once every ten seconds.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION/WORD: I pray that the returns of your savings be released for you rapidly in this season in Jesus’ Name.

DCLM Daily Manna – Christ’s Victory Over Satan

Pastor W. F. Kumuyi

DCLM Daily Manna 24 September 2023 Devotional By Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — Christ’s Victory Over Satan

TOPIC: Christ’s Victory Over Satan (DCLM Daily Manna 24 September 2023)

KEY VERSE: “These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful” (Revelation 17:14).

TEXT: Revelation 17:9-14 (KJV)

9 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.

10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.

11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.

12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.

13 These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.

14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.

MESSAGE:

In 1999, a Christian preacher entered a local community for mission work. In that remote village, a native doctor, who had held the people hostage for two decades, asked him to leave. The missionary insisted that he was there to do God’s work and nothing would stop him. At night, right inside a dingy room provided for him, the missionary noticed that a crawling object was moving towards him. He lit the candle and behold, it was a snake. The missionary and his host killed it. In the morning, news filtered that the native doctor had drowned in the village river.

The war between light and darkness always ends in favour of light. Such will be the case found in today’s text. This is about the end-time judgment of the great prostitute, the beast and their accomplices who will cause the world to wander in iniquity and all forms of abomination. Their stooges — ungodly kings of the earth – will have the same satanic mindset and shall hand over their royal and political powers to the beast, who will wage a war against Jesus Christ and the Church. However, Jesus will overcome them and have them and their followers thrown into hell.

Though these events are still in the future, the agents of Satan are already in the world taking their positions. Some of them are leaders in their domains championing demonic laws that will enslave many and put them on the side of the Antichrist. Some are seducing others, especially Christians. Some are waxing songs mixed with Christian and worldly lyrics to draw both children of God and the worldlings to their ungodly worldviews. Only be watchful and prayerful! Regardless of the activities of Satan and his forces, always ensure that you remain on the side of Jesus Christ, the victorious One.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
No matter what comes your way, be on the side of Jesus, always!

TREM Devotional – The Inexhaustible Riches Of Christ

Bishop Mike Okonkwo

Wisdom For The Day Devotional 22 September 2023 By Bishop Mike Okonkwo – The Inexhaustible Riches Of Christ

TOPIC: The Inexhaustible Riches Of Christ (TREM Devotional 22 September 2023)

“Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ; And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:” Ephesians 3:8-9 (KJV)

MESSAGE:

Paul, in his epistle to the Ephesians, declares that God had appointed him to declare the mysteries of Christ to the Gentiles. He received the gospel by revelation. Before then, the revelation was hidden. But at the appointed time, like now; God through His Spirit revealed the benefits they had in Christ as fellow heirs and joint partakers of God’s promise. Paul was saying in effect that he was privileged to have the responsibility to declare the good news of the inexhaustible riches and generosity of Christ.

That is why he prayed in the book of Ephesians 1:18: ‘The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints.” Beloved, God desires that we have full knowledge of what Jesus Christ died and resurrected to give us and appropriate it to live the standard of life that He desires for us. However, not until you know. The devil will continue to garage you into believing that where you are is the best you can ever attain. Don’t settle for his lies. You have not even scratched the surface in terms of what God has proposed for you.

You should be restless over the current state of affairs across the world, especially as it concerns believers living out God’s perfect plans for their lives. I must confess to you that I am. Things have gone out of hand in today’s world. Today we are seeing “servants upon horses and princes walking as servants upon the earth” (Ecclesiastes. 10:7). Beloved, this is an anomaly! And it is definitely not what Jesus died for. You must desire to attain all that Jesus paid the ultimate price to give you.

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Avoid Stealing

Paul Enenche

Dunamis Seeds Of Destiny 22 September 2023 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche: Avoid Stealing

TOPIC: Avoid Stealing (Seeds Of Destiny 22 September 2023)

SCRIPTURE: This he said, not that he cared for the poor; but because he was a thief, and had the bag, and bare what was put therein. John 12:6.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Stolen money is evil money regardless of who stole it and where it was stolen from.

MESSAGE:

It has been confirmed that stealing is the character of the devil because he is a thief (John10:10). This means, one who steals is a son or daughter of the devil, the master thief.

You must understand that stolen money is evil money. Stealing in any form at all levels of government is what put many nations in the mess of poverty and underdevelopment and all associated side effects.

Sometime ago, I heard a funny but pathetic story. Some armed robbers went and robbed a bank and carted away some huge amount of money.

When they got to their hideouts, one of them said, “Let us count the money to know how much we have robbed the bank of.”

But the other one said, “Relax, do not bother. We shall hear it on the network news.”

Now, the bank officials who experienced the robbery incident told one another something like, “You see, this is an opportunity for us now to factor into this robbery the millions of dollars we diverted some time ago which we cannot account for. Let us steal another thirty million dollars and also factor it into this robbery so that we can give a report to the press and the government that One Hundred Million Dollars was stolen from the bank.”
As expected, in the news, it was broadcast that some terrible armed robbers carted away One Hundred Million Dollars from a particular bank.

When the robbers heard this news, they looked at each other and started counting the money they stole. When they finished counting, it was twenty million dollars. They counted it again and again, still, it remained the same figure.
Then they said to themselves, “It was broadcast on the news that we stole a Hundred Million Dollars! See how we wasted our lives to get only Twenty Million Dollars while the bank officials who just sat in the office got Eighty Million Dollars.”

The point is, the bank officials stole more than the robbers. Stealing from the church or the place of work are the same. Stolen money is evil money regardless of who stole it and where it was stolen from. Refuse to yield to the temptation of any form of stealing.

REMEMBER THIS: Stolen money is evil money regardless of who stole it and where it was stolen from.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Refuse to yield to the temptation of any form of stealing.
  2. Ask God for the grace to be contented with what you have per time and work with your hands to have more.

PRAYER: Lord, I ask that You deliver me from the temptation of stealing in any form. I receive the grace to work with my hands to have resources Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

AMAZING FACT: Human teeth are the only part of the body that cannot heal themselves. Teeth are coated in enamel which is not a living tissue.

DCLM Daily Manna – Destiny Helpers

Pastor W. F. Kumuyi

DCLM Daily Manna 22 September 2023 Devotional By Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — Destiny Helpers

TOPIC: Destiny Helpers (DCLM Daily Manna 22 September 2023)

KEY VERSE: “All these men of war, that could keep rank, came with a perfect heart to Hebron, to make David king over all Israel: and all the rest also of Israel were of one heart to make David king” (1 Chronicles 12:38).

TEXT: 1 Chronicles 12:23-40 (KJV)

23 And these are the numbers of the bands that were ready armed to the war, and came to David to Hebron, to turn the kingdom of Saul to him, according to the word of the Lord.

24 The children of Judah that bare shield and spear were six thousand and eight hundred, ready armed to the war.

25 Of the children of Simeon, mighty men of valour for the war, seven thousand and one hundred.

26 Of the children of Levi four thousand and six hundred.

27 And Jehoiada was the leader of the Aaronites, and with him were three thousand and seven hundred;

28 And Zadok, a young man mighty of valour, and of his father’s house twenty and two captains.

29 And of the children of Benjamin, the kindred of Saul, three thousand: for hitherto the greatest part of them had kept the ward of the house of Saul.

30 And of the children of Ephraim twenty thousand and eight hundred, mighty men of valour, famous throughout the house of their fathers.

31 And of the half tribe of Manasseh eighteen thousand, which were expressed by name, to come and make David king.

32 And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do; the heads of them were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their commandment.

33 Of Zebulun, such as went forth to battle, expert in war, with all instruments of war, fifty thousand, which could keep rank: they were not of double heart.

34 And of Naphtali a thousand captains, and with them with shield and spear thirty and seven thousand.

35 And of the Danites expert in war twenty and eight thousand and six hundred.

36 And of Asher, such as went forth to battle, expert in war, forty thousand.

37 And on the other side of Jordan, of the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and of the half tribe of Manasseh, with all manner of instruments of war for the battle, an hundred and twenty thousand.

38 All these men of war, that could keep rank, came with a perfect heart to Hebron, to make David king over all Israel: and all the rest also of Israel were of one heart to make David king.

39 And there they were with David three days, eating and drinking: for their brethren had prepared for them.

40 Moreover they that were nigh them, even unto Issachar and Zebulun and Naphtali, brought bread on asses, and on camels, and on mules, and on oxen, and meat, meal, cakes of figs, and bunches of raisins, and wine, and oil, and oxen, and sheep abundantly: for there was joy in Israel.

MESSAGE:

A young girl wanted to study in a top-notch university in her country but there was nobody to support her. Her parents were poor and their well-to-do relatives did not care. One day, after praying fervently, a woman saw her in a market and started gazing at her. The woman was wondering why the young girl looked much like her childhood friend. It later turned out that that woman and the young girl’s mother were primary school mates. At the end of the day, the woman met her childhood friend and decided to see the young girl throughout her university studies.

Today’s text has a listing of different tribes of Israel who were ready to turn the kingdom from Saul to David. The individuals were of one and perfect heart, and were there to accomplish God’s plan for David. They were also experts in their own right. While the children of Issachar understood the times and what Israel ought to do, those of Zebulun and Dan were experts in war. The descendants of Naphtali could expertly handle shields and spears. In their thousands, they came to make David king and were neither mischievous nor crafty about their mission. The interesting thing was that they were with David for three days, eating and drinking.

What a blessedness it is to have destiny helpers who will defy all odds to support us. There are many who have lost hope in life, thinking that God has abandoned them. Remember, if thousands of people from different tribes of Israel could be willing to make David king, God can draw people from any corner of the earth to come to your aid, as long as you are within the circle of His will. Pray that He sends such help your way to enable you accomplish His purpose.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
God can use anybody to help somebody.

Verse 1:
It seems so hard for you to pray
Sometimes you don’t know what to say
You’ve done all you know to do
Called on everyone you could
What you once thought was right
Now seems wrong in your eyes
Your tears, your cares cloud your eyes
Now you feel like giving up

Chorus:
You will smile again
You will lift your head up high
The set time to favour you is now
You shall revive again
Just as God said you would
You will sing the victory song
In the overflow of grace

Verse 2:
I know the plans i have for you
Thoughts of good and not of evil
My promises concerning you
They will surely come to pass
What is written concerning you
Superceeeds whats happening
My convenant i will not break
Evil will not prevail

Bridge:
Reach out to me
For there is grace abundant here
Grace that restores and makes dry bones revive again
Drink from this water and you will never thirst again
All the world will know that
I am Jehovah, I am God (modulate)

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Depression–An Ill Health Condition

Paul Enenche

Dunamis Seeds Of Destiny 19 September 2023 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche: Depression – An Ill Health Condition

TOPIC: Depression – An Ill Health Condition (Seeds Of Destiny 19 September 2023)

SCRIPTURE: Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation. Habakkuk 3:17-18.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Depression is a major platform for the destruction of life, health and system.

MESSAGE:

It has been confirmed that depression is an attack on life and destiny. Extreme depression is a mental ill health condition. But joy is medicinal; joy is therapeutic.

When you squeeze your face in depression, you freeze your life, and when you freeze your life, you freeze your destiny. Depression is a major platform for the destruction of life, health and system (1 Corinthians 10:10). That will not be your portion in Jesus’ Name.

Sometime ago, I was talking with one of my children. The moment we started talking, she started laughing. She laughed and laughed and laughed.

Then my wife said, “Ah! You children, tell me what Daddy does to you that you keep laughing all the time.”

My wife has the gift of smiling and I have the gift of making people laugh. So, I keep my home filled with excitement and joy instead of tension or depression.

In the course of a study I did some years ago, I came across an American writer called Zig Ziglar.

He said there was a study done about octogenarians, that is, people who lived up to eighty years and above. The study was to reveal the secret of their longevity. And one of the core secrets of those people was a healthy sense of humour. It was observed that those octogenarians lived long because they knew how to laugh and be happy. They also knew how to make other people happy.

By living in the realm of happiness, they lived up to eighty years and above.

Beloved, by all means, reject depression. Choose the pathway of joy and you will find a healthy long life.

REMEMBER THIS: Depression is a major platform for the destruction for life, health and system.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. By all means, refuse to be depressed.
  2. Make the choice for joy and happiness. Determine your environment and do not allow your environment to determine your behaviour.

PRAYER: Lord, I ask that You deliver me from the spell of depression. I receive the grace to make the choice for joy, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

FOR FURTHER UNDERSTANDING, GET THIS MESSAGE: SECRETS AND CHANNELS OF DIVINE HEALING AND HEALTH (PART 1).

QUOTE: When you are not thankful and excited, you lack joy. If you lack joy, you lack strength, and when you lack strength, you end in defeat. Culled from the book “21 FOOLISH THINGS PEOPLE DO” by Dr Paul Enenche.

DAILY READING: Joel 2-Amos 1.

AMAZING FACT: Acacia trees in Africa communicate with each other. They emit gasses to alert other trees to produce the toxin tannin, which protects them from hungry animals.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION/WORD: Every spirit or spell of depression be destroyed off your life today in the Name of Jesus’ Name.

Today’s devotional was written by Pastor Paul Enenche of the Dunamis International Gospel Centre (DIGC), headquartered at Abuja, Nigeria, with Pastor Paul and Becky Enenche, as the Senior Pastors. It is a power-packed arena where God’s Presence, Principles and Power are at work for the salvation, healing and restoration of human destinies and dignities.

Are you worn out, dried up, and searching for something more? Stir up your spiritual hunger. Are you satisfied with the status quo, get out of the norm, and launch into the deep with Until I See.

2 Chronicles 16:9 says ‘The eyes of the Lord search the whole earth in order to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him’, also in Hebrews 11:6 – “God rewards those who earnestly seek (hunger for) him”.

Close out to the distractions within and seek more of Him. Come draw from the well of the living God.

Lyrics: Blessed Amara By Abba My helper

Verse 1
You’re the God who never sleeps nor slumber
you’re the Lord, who never fails
You’re the God, your words are yes and amen
You hold the world in the palm of your hand
Oh oh oh oh ooo
Ibu chi muo, Anya nji ahu uzo
onweghi onye yiri gi
N’ine gi, oshimiri Ata Ata

Verse 2
Abba You’re the lifter of my head
Mountains and hills liquefy at your presence
Even when I walked through the valley shadow of death
You’ll hold my hand
You’ll comfort me

Bridge
You’re so faithful, strong and mighty God
Powerful is your name, alpha and omega
Defender my helper
wonder working father,

you never lie, you never sleep, you never slumber, you never disappoint
All things are possible with you
You can all things, what you say you’ll do-that’s what you’ll do
Unquestionable, dependable God
Hallelujah

we worship you father, you caused the lame to walk
you made the blind to see
In you we put our hope
Everything depends on you God
You’re our everything
We love and trust Lord
