DCLM Daily Manna – Selfishness Is Damning

Pastor W. F. Kumuyi

DCLM Daily Manna 27 October 2022 Devotional By Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — Selfishness Is Damning

TOPIC: Selfishness Is Damning (DCLM Daily Manna 27 October 2022)

TEXT: Matthew 18:1-6 (KJV)

1 At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?

2 And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,

3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

5 And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.

6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

KEY VERSE: “At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?” (Matthew 18:1)

MESSAGE:

In his book, “The Purpose Driven Life”, Rich Warren says, “Focusing on ourselves will never reveal our life’s purpose. Until we understand that our lives begin with God as Creator and exist only because God wills it so, life will never make sense. We were made by God and for God”.

The text centres on the question the disciples of Jesus asked Him: “Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?” In response, Christ called a little child unto Him and told them that except they are converted and become like little children, they cannot enter into the kingdom of heaven. He that receives a little child in His name actually receives Him.

The disciples of Jesus had from time to time argued about who should be the greatest among them (Mark 9:33, 34). Even the sons of Zebedee, James and John, had to employ the service of their mother to press further their desire (Matthew 20:20-22). The question they asked here was no doubt motivated by “self”. This canal nature was eventually subdued when they became sanctified (Acts 2:1).

Self gives rise to strife, envy, discord, judgmental attitude, resentment and all kinds of distortions. It brings disorder and chaos to an otherwise peaceful and cordial atmosphere and relationship. Self is pride-motivated. It pays for man to realise that whatever he has – wealth, wisdom, beauty, strength, intelligence, anointing, etc. – is given to him by God. Therefore, he must not “think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith” (Romans 12:3).

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
Heaven belongs to the humble.

TREM Devotional – Your Part Is To Believe

Dr. Mike Okonkwo TREM

Wisdom For The Day Devotional 25 October 2022 By Bishop Mike Okonkwo – Your Part Is To Believe

TOPIC: Your Part Is To Believe (TREM Devotional 25 October 2022)

“Jesus said to him, if you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” Mark 9:23 (NKJV)

MESSAGE:

Many are trying to pre-empt God. They try to figure Him out in a particular situation they have encountered. You see, trying to understand the way and manner God does His things will lead to a waste of time because nobody can play God. He does His own things in His own time and in His own way. Your part is to believe in God. All things are possible to him that believes. How He will do it is not your business.

Sometimes we need to be crazy for God! How? By just being stupid in such a way that even when people call you a fool for believing God, your response will be, I still believe Him. For us to develop strong trust in God, notwithstanding the circumstances, we need to take time to meditate on the word of God so that it will take root in us. Meditation is deeper than memorization of the word. Meditation grounds the scripture deeply into you. It is good to memorize. But take it further by meditating so that you can plant it.

Also declare what you have meditated on because faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Keep saying the word to yourself until it becomes one with you; for out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.

Out of your bellies shall flow rivers of living water.

We have a lot of people who memorize the scriptures, but they are not speaking Rhema. The scriptures coming out of the womb of your spirit through your mouth is such that will do damage to satan’s kingdom; The word has to come from the womb and not from your head. Plant the word. The word is a seed. Plant it in your spirit because it has the capacity to produce anything that God says that it will produce. Every ingredient necessary to ensure that the word of God comes to the past and produces is in us. Your part is to believe it.

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – God Hates Bribery And Corruption

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional

Dunamis Seeds Of Destiny 25 October 2022 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche – God Hates Bribery And Corruption

TOPIC: God Hates Bribery And Corruption (Seeds Of Destiny 25 October 2022)

SCRIPTURE: For the congregation of hypocrites shall be desolate, and fire shall consume the tabernacles of bribery. Job 15:34.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Any investment made from the proceeds of bribery has no future.

MESSAGE:

The Bible makes it clear that the love of money is the root of all evil (1 Timothy 6:10).

Many people today indulge in all sorts of evil practices as a result of the quest to make money by all means. People earn money through unimaginable and atrocious evil to make money.

Any money earned from evil practice is called evil money.
Now, one example of evil money is the proceeds of bribery.

The Bible mentions bribe by name throughout scriptures. Bribery is a form of inducement. It is giving people things in order to have your way.

To bribe someone, therefore, is to dishonestly persuade him or her to act in one’s favour using money or other kinds of gifts. It is a sinful practice. Both the briber and the bribed are both implicated in corruption.

When one partakes in bribery, money is either given or taken in order to have one’s way. There are people who expect you to give them money to do what they are being paid salary to do.

Job 15:34 says,
For the congregation of hypocrites shall be desolate, and fire shall consume the tabernacles of bribery.

That is to say any investment made from the proceeds of bribery has no future. The reason God consumes the tabernacle of bribery with fire is because He hates bribery.

In 1 Samuel 12:3, 4, Samuel gave a testimony about himself and said,
Behold, here I am: witness against me before the Lord, and before his anointed: whose ox have I taken? or whose ass have I taken? or whom have I defrauded? whom have I oppressed? or of whose hand have I received any bribe to blind mine eyes therewith? and I will restore it you.

And they said, Thou hast not defrauded us, nor oppressed us, neither hast thou taken ought of any man’s hand.
At the end, he prayed and thunder and fire fell.

Beloved, God hates bribery. Refuse bribery or all forms of forced inducement.

Remember this: Any investment made from the proceeds of bribery has no future.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Refuse bribery and all other forms of inducement.
  2. Live a life of honesty and sincerity and you shall see the Blessing of God.

PRAYER: Lord, deliver me from the trap of evil money. I ask for the grace not to be involved in bribery or any form of inducement, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

FOR FURTHER UNDERSTANDING, GET THIS MESSAGE: THE TRAGEDY OF EVIL MONEY.

QUOTE: Someone collected bribe and got a share of corrupt money, not because he really needed that money; but he lacked the firmness of purpose to say, “I do not want it. I know it is not correct.” Culled from “WHO ARE YOU?” by Dr Paul Enenche.

DAILY BIBLE READING: Luke 13-15.

AMAZING FACT: Our brain is programmed to correct the inverted image formed on our retina by the convex eye lens. A new born baby sees the world upside down till its bran starts correcting it.

PROPHETIC WORD/DECLARATION: The Lord deliver you from every taste for iniquitous and insincere money in Jesus’ Name.

DCLM Daily Manna – Shun Unbelief

Pastor W. F. Kumuyi

DCLM Daily Manna 25 October 2022 Devotional By Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — Shun Unbelief

TOPIC: Shun Unbelief (DCLM Daily Manna 25 October 2022)

TEXT: Judges 4:4-9 (KJV)

4 And Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lapidoth, she judged Israel at that time.

5 And she dwelt under the palm tree of Deborah between Ramah and Bethel in mount Ephraim: and the children of Israel came up to her for judgment.

6 And she sent and called Barak the son of Abinoam out of Kedeshnaphtali, and said unto him, Hath not the Lord God of Israel commanded, saying, Go and draw toward mount Tabor, and take with thee ten thousand men of the children of Naphtali and of the children of Zebulun?

7 And I will draw unto thee to the river Kishon Sisera, the captain of Jabin’s army, with his chariots and his multitude; and I will deliver him into thine hand.

8 And Barak said unto her, If thou wilt go with me, then I will go: but if thou wilt not go with me, then I will not go.

9 And she said, I will surely go with thee: notwithstanding the journey that thou takest shall not be for thine honour; for the Lord shall sell Sisera into the hand of a woman. And Deborah arose, and went with Barak to Kedesh.

KEY VERSE: “And she said, I will surely go with thee: notwithstanding the journey that thou takest shall not be for thine honour; for the LORD shall sell Sisera into the hand of a woman. And Deborah arose, and went with Barak to Kedesh” (Judges 4:9).

MESSAGE:

In his study of five hundred richest men in America, Napoleon Hill discovered a common characteristic. Each had the attitude of positive expectancy. They saw in every obstacle or challenge an equal or greater opportunity or benefit. They built their vast fortune on this belief. Actually, the difference between success and failure is based on one’s expectations.

Deborah was a prophetess and judge in Israel at a time the nation had turned away from God and was under oppression. But God, in His mercy, through her, commissioned Barak to go against the enemy, promising to deliver him into his hand. Surprisingly, Barak became afraid and requested that Deborah accompany him else he would not go. The prophetess obliged but informed him that the battle would no longer be for his honour as God would now deliver Sisera into the hand of a woman.

Regrettably, many so-called Christians today toe the line of Barak. We need to work on our faith and always put it to work when faced with challenges. The moment we decide to pay attention to the threats and the size of the enemy instead of focusing on the omnipotence of God and His never-failing promises, we become weak in faith.

Faith in God is necessary for any worthwhile task; and the bigger the task, the more faith is required. So, when next you are confronted with a challenge that seems to swallow you up, face it with faith, shun unbelief and you will be sure to win.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
Believe that you can, and you will.

TREM Devotional – Don’t Function With Babylonian System

Dr. Mike Okonkwo TREM

Wisdom For The Day Devotional 24 October 2022 By Bishop Mike Okonkwo – Don’t Function With Babylonian System

TOPIC: Don’t Function With Babylonian System (TREM Devotional 24 October 2022)

“Nevertheless, the centurion believed the master and the owner of the ship, more than those things which were spoken by Paul”. Acts 27:11 (KJV)

MESSAGE:

While Paul was on his way to Rome, he told the crew in the ship that he sensed in the Spirit that they should sail. He counseled that they should anchor there and wait a little while in other to avoid stormy weather. But the Centurion chose to believe the chief master and the owner of the ship. And the counsel of God was overruled. This is what many believers do today. They overrule men of God and also overrule what God says.

Child of God, we are not supposed to function with a Babylonian system which is the world system. The system of the scripture is superior to the Babylonian system. We operate on a supernatural terrain. The fact that it doesn’t seem to be like it naturally does not mean that it cannot change. In this encounter, Paul advised them on what to do to avoid disaster, but they refused to listen and they took off. And just like he perceived, there was a very terrible storm. But for God’s intervention, they would have perished in the storm.

When you look at the present situation around you and you look at the world system, nothing seems to be giving anyone any hope. That is why you have to make up your mind about where you can anchor your hope. It is your choice. You will notice that when God, in His infinite mercy, intervened, He spoke to them through Paul. “…Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Caesar: and, lo, God hath given thee all them that sail with thee. Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me.” (Acts 27:23-25 KJV).

The plan of the enemy against you will never succeed. His intention to drown you halfway will never see the light of the day. God does not go on vacation simply because there is a challenge. That is why you must believe in God’s system above the world’s system.

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Understanding Excellence

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional

Dunamis Seeds Of Destiny 24 October 2022 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche – Understanding Excellence

TOPIC: Understanding Excellence (Seeds Of Destiny 24 October 2022)

SCRIPTURE: You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Matthew 5:14.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Existence in distinction or excellence means existence that makes a difference on earth.

MESSAGE:

The Scripture makes it clear that God’s children are designed and destined for existence in excellence and distinction on earth.

As children of the Most-High God, we are not designed for low-level or ground-level existence.

To be able to exist in excellence, it is important to understand what excellence is all about. This is because what is not defined cannot be found.

Now, what is excellence?
i. It means existence that makes a difference on earth.
Existence in distinction or excellence means existence that makes a difference on earth; it is existence to make a difference and not just to make a living.

When you exist in distinction or excellence, everything about you is different. You are different in every ramification – be it in your spiritual, career, ministerial, or academic life, etc.

People would notice something unique, different and distinct in what you do. For example, many years ago, a school mate of mine told me, “Sir, God has helped you because everything about you is just different. In marriage and in other areas of life, you are just different. Everything about you is just different.”

So, to exist in distinction or excellence is coming to a point in your life where, God having helped you to do what is required of you, you are just different.

ii. It means existence above obscurity.
To exist in distinction or excellence is to exist above obscurity. It is to exist with positive notoriety. You are known for something positive; you are notorious positively. No man, woman, friend or enemy can say he or she is not aware that you are alive. Nobody can claim ignorance of your impact on earth. To exist in distinction or excellence is to exist in a dimension of impact that could attract global attention.

Remember this: Existence in distinction or excellence means existence that makes a difference on earth.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Refuse the low-level or ground-level existence.
  2. Be different; make a difference on earth.

PRAYER: Lord, I reject the lifestyle of mediocrity or low-level existence. Help me LORD to make a difference in my generation, in Jesus’ Name.

FOR FURTHER UNDERSTANDING, GET THIS MESSAGE: UNDERSTANDING EXCELLENCE AND DISTINCTION

QUOTE: “…You are among a new generation of ambassadors that will rise up to amaze this world. And if you are, you are going to succeed by integrity and high standards of excellence and holiness.” Culled from “WHO ARE YOU?” by Dr Paul Enenche.

DAILY BIBLE READING: Luke 10-12.

AMAZING FACT: I decree the release on you of the Spirit of excellence in Jesus’ Name.

PROPHETIC WORD/DECLARATION: I decree the release on you of the Spirit of excellence in Jesus’ Name.

DCLM Daily Manna – A Pastor’s Burden

Pastor W. F. Kumuyi

DCLM Daily Manna 24 October 2022 Devotional By Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — A Pastor’s Burden

TOPIC: A Pastor’s Burden (DCLM Daily Manna 24 October 2022)

TEXT: 1 Timothy 2:9-15 (KJV)

9 In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;

10 But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.

11 Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.

12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.

13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve.

14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.

15 Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.

KEY VERSE: “In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array” (1 Timothy 2:9).

MESSAGE:

Powerful and wealthy women with a high social calling were a regular sight during youthful Timothy’s bishopric in Ephesus. They flaunted their opulence through showy and expensive apparel and hairdo. Their presence in the church caused much stir and stole away the attention of worshippers. It also made less financially endowed women to envy and desire worldly acquisitions. The stage also began to be set for immorality among the people. These economically strong women became proud and sought unscriptural feminism. As a result, spirituality of the church at Ephesus became threatened.

Apostle Paul was alarmed. So, he wrote to Timothy instructing him to take steps to bring back the Ephesian women to their proper positions in the church. They must not emulate the exhibitionist lifestyle of their environment. Ephesus was the city of promiscuity. It was the home of the goddess, Diana, whose worship bred temple harlots displaying provocative attire and braided hair. They were known for sacrilegious and carnal perversions that contradicted the teachings of the gospel.

The church was called out from this licentious culture and as an apostle, Paul had the responsibility to warn the sheepfold against a return to that past.

A shepherd must not spare the rod of correction, no matter whose ox is gored. If he wants to please God who gave him the office, then he must deliver the whole truth about the qualifications for heaven. The abode of God is meant for only those who reject the sinful practices of the world.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
A true preacher must be burdened about a perishing soul.

DCLM Daily Manna – Secrets Of Effective Leaders

Pastor W. F. Kumuyi

DCLM Daily Manna 23 October 2022 Devotional By Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — Secrets Of Effective Leaders

TOPIC: Secrets Of Effective Leaders (DCLM Daily Manna 23 October 2022)

TEXT: Numbers 27:1-8 (KJV)

1 Then came the daughters of Zelophehad, the son of Hepher, the son of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, of the families of Manasseh the son of Joseph: and these are the names of his daughters; Mahlah, Noah, and Hoglah, and Milcah, and Tirzah.

2 And they stood before Moses, and before Eleazar the priest, and before the princes and all the congregation, by the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, saying,

3 Our father died in the wilderness, and he was not in the company of them that gathered themselves together against the Lord in the company of Korah; but died in his own sin, and had no sons.

4 Why should the name of our father be done away from among his family, because he hath no son? Give unto us therefore a possession among the brethren of our father.

5 And Moses brought their cause before the Lord.

6 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

7 The daughters of Zelophehad speak right: thou shalt surely give them a possession of an inheritance among their father’s brethren; and thou shalt cause the inheritance of their father to pass unto them.

8 And thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a man die, and have no son, then ye shall cause his inheritance to pass unto his daughter.

KEY VERSE: “And Moses brought their cause before the LORD” (Numbers 27:5).

MESSAGE:

Successful leadership requires much more than occupying a position or bearing a title. It entails having an understanding of one’s limitations and weaknesses and knowing how to leverage on the strength and support of others, whether they are one’s superiors or juniors.

Our text revealed the sensitive and unusual request made to Moses the servant of God by the five daughters of Zelophehad, a man of the tribe of Manasseh. These ladies wanted Moses to allot them land (an inheritance) among their father’s brothers since their late father had no son. This, they maintained, was to ensure that their father’s name and possession was not lost among his brethren. Because Moses had not handled that kind of issue before, he assured the young women that he would bring their matter before God. God told him that the daughters of Zelophehad were right and he should allocate them land among their father’s brothers.

Leaders must learn to be willing to admit it when they do not have immediate answers to the questions or enquiries of the people. It does not diminish their person or honour when they do so. Rather, it further earns them the respect of their followers and endears them to their hearts the more. Honesty and sincerity are of great importance in leadership. When leaders make mistakes in judgment and decisions, they should be willing to admit it. After all, leaders are humans too.

It is however important that leaders be willing to pay the price of diligently finding out what they do not know from God through prayers and proper study. This will save the leader from giving a wrong judgment or counsel.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
Humility makes our leadership style superb.

TREM Devotional – No Hopeless Situation In Christ

Dr. Mike Okonkwo TREM

Wisdom For The Day Devotional 22 October 2022 By Bishop Mike Okonkwo – No Hopeless Situation In Christ

TOPIC: No Hopeless Situation In Christ (TREM Devotional 22 October 2022)

“For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve, saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Caesar: and, lo, God hath given thee all them that sail with thee. Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me.” Acts 27:23-25 (KJV)

MESSAGE:

Apostle Paul spoke in the above passage at such a time when all hope that they should be saved had been taken away. They were in a hopeless situation. It was a no-way-out situation. They had accepted their conditions that they were going to die. They had tried to empty the ship to see if peradventure they will be able to control the ship. But they couldn’t control it because they didn’t even know where they were. They had lost direction. No hope! No way out! They were perplexed! And they had no answer.

The question is when you come to a situation like the one experienced by Apostle Paul and the inmates of the ship, what do you do? This question is pertinent because we live in a world that does not give anybody any hope. We live in a world where everything is falling apart and spiraling downwards. We live in a world where people are breaking covenants with ease and the biggest dog eats the smallest dog.

Beloved, you must realize that an encounter with Jesus is a game-changer in life. When Jesus comes into your life, you are no longer like every other person. The fact that you look like every other person on the street does not mean that you are like them. You are supernatural! And God expects you to operate on a different platform. You are not supposed to function the way every other person functions. You have been raised into a higher platform. That is why you cannot be stranded.

Just when it looked as if all hope was lost, God showed up. And supernaturally, Paul and everyone in the ship was preserved. God will show up for you! No situation is hopeless for the believer.

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Benefits Of Prayer

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional

Dunamis Seeds Of Destiny 22 October 2022 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche – Benefits Of Prayer

TOPIC: Benefits Of Prayer (Seeds Of Destiny 22 October 2022)

SCRIPTURE: Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:16.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The altar of prayer is the altar of Divine Intervention.

MESSAGE:

The ministry of prayer is a vital ministry in the life of every child of God. Prayer is key to profitable existence on earth. This is why men of impact give priority attention to the ministry of prayer.

In our study today, I will give you two benefits of prayer.
i. The altar of prayer is the altar of Divine Intervention
The altar of prayer is the altar of Divine intervention.
Hebrews 4:16 says, Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

This means, we receive needed intervention at the place of prayer. The altar of prayer is the altar of Divine intervention.

ii. The altar of prayer is the altar of connection to Divine resources
Whatever is available with God is accessible at the altar of prayer. Whatever God has to offer is made available at the place of prayer. Be it supernatural supply, favour or the anointing, it is available at the place of prayer.

Today, I decree fresh fire on your altar of prayer to disconnect you from anything that has tied down your life. I decree that you shall experience Divine Intervention and connection to Divine resources at the altar of prayer in Jesus’ Name.

Remember this: The altar of prayer is the altar of Divine intervention.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Make up your mind to connect to Divine Intervention by engaging in consistent prayer.
  2. Access what is available with God for you by prayer.

PRAYER: Lord, I access what is available with You for me by the ministry of prayer. Give the needed intervention in my life as I pray Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

DCLM Daily Manna – The Enemies’ Ultimate Defeat

Pastor W. F. Kumuyi

DCLM Daily Manna 22 October 2022 Devotional By Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — The Enemies’ Ultimate Defeat

TOPIC: The Enemies’ Ultimate Defeat (DCLM Daily Manna 22 October 2022)

TEXT: Exodus 15:19-22 (KJV)

19 For the horse of Pharaoh went in with his chariots and with his horsemen into the sea, and the Lord brought again the waters of the sea upon them; but the children of Israel went on dry land in the midst of the sea.

20 And Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a timbrel in her hand; and all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dances.

21 And Miriam answered them, Sing ye to the Lord, for he hath triumphed gloriously; the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea.

22 So Moses brought Israel from the Red sea, and they went out into the wilderness of Shur; and they went three days in the wilderness, and found no water.

KEY VERSE: “For the horse of Pharaoh went in with his chariots and with his horsemen into the sea, and the LORD brought again the waters of the sea upon them; but the children of Israel went on dry land in the midst of the sea.” – (Exodus 15:19)

MESSAGE:

Stubbornness and pride are two elements that often lead to the woeful defeat and ultimate destruction of people. Not willing to accept initial defeat out of shame and pride, they are bent on pursuing a course, which obviously become lost to them. At last, they lose far more than they had imagined.

Our text today reveals the drama that brought an end to Pharaoh and the Egyptian oppression of the children of Israel. The Red Sea was the red line Pharaoh and his soldiers would get to and meet their waterloo. His hardened heart made him pursue the Israelites into the Red Sea together with his horsemen, and this was the trap that nailed Pharaoh and closed the episode of hate and slavery against Israel by the Egyptians.

The battle between light and darkness – the kingdom of God and that of Satan rages on today. The devil, like Pharaoh, does not want to give up his pursuit of the children of God. He and his agents are bent on consuming and destroying the people of God. But our invincible Conqueror and Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ, has assured us of victory.

We must continue to have faith and remain obedient to Christ and our God-appointed leaders in order to have final victory over Satan and his cohorts. No matter how loud the enemy may roar and how close he seems, he will be ultimately defeated.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
God’s presence with us means victory all the way.

TREM Devotional – Your Ground Will Produce

Dr. Mike Okonkwo TREM

Wisdom For The Day Devotional 21 October 2022 By Bishop Mike Okonkwo – Your Ground Will Produce

TOPIC: Your Ground Will Produce (TREM Devotional 21 October 2022)

“And you who are left in Judah, who have escaped the ravages of the siege, will put roots down in your own soil and grow up and flourish” Isaiah 37:31 (NLT)

MESSAGE:

Those of you whom God has preserved and kept alive, you have escaped the ravages and siege of satanic pestilence. You will put roots down in your own soil and grow up. And you will flourish. Your ground will produce. Whatsoever you lay your hands to do shall prosper.

You still have a portion in the land. It does not matter what the situation may be. Amid challenges, you will prosper. The book of Isaiah 37:32 says, “For a remnant of my people will spread out from Jerusalem, a group of survivors from Mount Zion. The passionate commitment of the LORD of Heaven’s Armies will make this happen!”

Get ready for expansion! It is not about you it is the zeal of the Lord that will perform it. “…Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.” (Zachariah 4:6 KJV). And this is what the Lord says about the king of Assyria: “His armies will not enter Jerusalem. They will not even shoot an arrow at it. They will not march outside its gates with their shields nor build banks of earth against its walls.” (Isaiah 37:33 NLT).

This is God’s word. Therefore, every force of darkness that the enemy has manufactured to invade your land shall never stand. Every womb that is considering evil and wickedness against your success and progress in life is terminated. Once God elevates you, nobody shall be able to stop you. They shall always be ashamed.

Every plan to terminate your life will not stand. As many that have been servicing altars against your progress shall be destroyed. A thousand will fall on your side and ten thousand on you right but they will never come near you. Christ has delivered you from the power of darkness and translated you into His kingdom. You are complete in Him. And He has made you partake in the inheritance of the saints.

Your testimonies shall be noised abroad.

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Jesus Christ, A Man Of Prayer And The Word

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional

Dunamis Seeds Of Destiny 21 October 2022 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche – Jesus Christ, A Man Of Prayer And The Word

TOPIC: Jesus Christ, A Man Of Prayer And The Word (Seeds Of Destiny 21 October 2022)

SCRIPTURE: And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed. Mark 1:35.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: One secret of Jesus Christ was His priority for prayer and the Word of God.

MESSAGE:

Our Lord Jesus Christ is our perfect example in Godly virtues. He is the life we are supposed to live. Our lives should be a reflection of his Life on earth (John14:6).

One secret of Jesus Christ was His priority for prayer and the Word of God.

Jesus Christ was given to prayer and the Word.
Mark 1:35 says, And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.

Before the day broke, Jesus went into a solitary place and prayed to God.
Also, in Luke 6:12, He prayed all night to God.

Now, if Jesus Christ, who had no need of anything, could pray all night, how much more you and I?

What about His disposition to the Word of God? Luke 4:16-20 showed that He was a man of the Word. It was His custom to read the Scriptures.

He had ransacked the Scriptures and when it was time for the fulfilment of what was written in the Book about Him, He opened the Book and read it for everybody to hear. Jesus Christ, who is the Word of God personified, studied the Scriptures. No wonder, He shot arrows that did not miss targets.

Beloved, if our Lord Jesus Christ Who is the Author and Finisher of our faith would pray and study God’s Word as a proof of His dedication to God, it means you can’t be truly dedicated to God without commitment to praying and studying God’s Word.

Beloved, I counsel you to follow the footsteps of men with proven dedication to God. Make up your mind to pray and Study God’s Word consistently.

Remember this: One secret of Jesus Christ was His priority for prayer and the Word of God.

DCLM Daily Manna – Full Of The Holy Ghost

Pastor W. F. Kumuyi

DCLM Daily Manna 21 October 2022 Devotional By Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — Full Of The Holy Ghost

TOPIC: Full Of The Holy Ghost (DCLM Daily Manna 21 October 2022)

TEXT: Acts 6:1-8 (KJV)

1 And in those days, when the number of the disciples was multiplied, there arose a murmuring of the Grecians against the Hebrews, because their widows were neglected in the daily ministration.

2 Then the twelve called the multitude of the disciples unto them, and said, It is not reason that we should leave the word of God, and serve tables.

3 Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business.

4 But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.

5 And the saying pleased the whole multitude: and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Ghost, and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolas a proselyte of Antioch:

6 Whom they set before the apostles: and when they had prayed, they laid their hands on them.

7 And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith.

8 And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people.

KEY VERSE: “Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business.” – (Acts 6:3).

MESSAGE:

Moody was to have a campaign in England. An elderly pastor protested, “Why do we need this ‘Mr. Moody’? He’s uneducated, inexperienced, etc. Who does he think he is anyway? Does he think he has a monopoly on the Holy Spirit?” A younger, wiser pastor rose and responded, “No, but the Holy Spirit has a monopoly on Mr. Moody.”

The passage under consideration tells us of the life and deeds of one of the seven disciples of Christ chosen by the church to serve as attendant in the congregation at Jerusalem. The reputable character among them was Stephen – “a man full of faith and of the Holy Ghost” (Acts 6:5). It was reported of him that he “…did great wonders and miracles among the people” (Acts 6:8).

Spirit baptism, as a Christian experience, is required for enlisting servants in the Kingdom work as aptly demonstrated by the elders in the early Church. This experience is sequel to salvation, that is, repentance and turning away from all sins and the sanctification experience, which addresses the inward depravity that all men inherited from Adam and Eve. It was obvious that Stephen had a full dose of divine peace, purity and power.

The promise of the Father is also available for contemporary believers. If we desire this experience, pray and wait patiently on the promise, we shall obtain the glorious experience and the power to preach the gospel with boldness and pungency.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
Be filled with the Spirit for greater usefulness and fruitfulness.
