TOPIC: Beware What You Think!

If you don’t want to act it, then don’t think it.

SCRIPTURE: For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies: These are the things which defile a man…Matthew 15:19-20

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: If you don’t want to act it, then don’t think it.

In life, actions are fuelled by thought. Our anchor scripture confirms that it is thought that fuels action. And action in turn determines manifestation. The Scripture says, For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts… and these evil thoughts flow into murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, etc. So, thought is powerful. To think it now is to act it later. To think it now is to act it with time. To think it now is to manifest it with time. The point is, if you don’t want to act it, then don’t think it.

People commit suicide after they have thought about it for a while; they must have calculated all the options. They allowed depressive thoughts for a while: ‘Why am I alive? What is life all about? Is God even aware that I exist?’ And then they keep on thinking such depressive thoughts until the devil whispers to them, ‘Just take your life.’

So, thought fuels action. Action proceeds to manifestation and manifestation determines outcome. Action also determines reaction. For instance, a person’s thought can move him to act in a criminal way, and then he gets the reaction of it, which is ending in jail.

Beloved, beware of what you allow into your heart. Beware of what you think about. If the outcome of a thought is not what you desire, don’t entertain it. If you don’t want to manifest it with time, then don’t think it at all.

Remember this: If you don’t want to act it, then don’t think it.

ASSIGNMENT(S):

1. Ask for the Holy Ghost to take over your mind.
2. Stay away from associations, sounds and sights that can suggest defiling, harmful and destructive thoughts.
3. Immediately eject unhealthy thoughts from your mind.

TOPIC: The Power Of Thought

No matter how hard a person tries, his life can never rise above his thought.

SCRIPTURE: Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. Proverbs 4:23

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: No matter how hard a person tries, his life can never rise above his thought.

We are in a generation where many people are overwhelmed with all manner of thoughts – diverse thoughts, diverse pressures on the mind.

It is important to know that one of the most powerful weapons in life is the WEAPON OF THOUGHT. Thought can make a life; thought can also mar a life. Thought can raise a life; thought can also ruin a life. Thought can assist someone to end in eternity in heaven; and thought can assist another person to end in eternity in hellfire. Thought has brought the greatest blessing upon the world. Thought has also brought the greatest damnation on the earth. A man by the name Adolph Hitler wanted to rule the world at one time, and that led to very devastating war that engulfed the whole world.

The question is, how powerful is thought?

1. Thought determines results (Proverbs 4:23, Proverbs 23:7). The quality of thought determines the quality of results. The quality of thought affects the quality of destiny. No matter how hard a person tries, his life can never rise above his thought. Anywhere you find yourself in life is where your thought has permitted you to be. When you toy with thought, you toy with destiny. So, thought determines results; it determines destiny.
2. Thought births possibilities (Genesis 11:6, Ephesians 3:20). If we can imagine or think it, then it is possible. Only what is a possibility to the mind can be a possibility in life. Possibility is a child of mentality. No one arrives anywhere by chance; you arrive there by faith coupled with the right mentality.

So, thoughts birth possibilities.

That is why I advise you today beloved, don’t imprison your life and destiny by the wrong thought; think positively.

Remember this: No matter how hard a person tries, his life can never rise above his thought.

ASSIGNMENT(S):

1. Examine your thought to ensure that it aligns with what God wants, and your desired expectations in life.
2. Renew your mind daily by reading, studying, and meditating on the Word of God.

TOPIC: Excellence – A Highway To Prominence

Not everyone speaks and people listen; but when you excel, you have a voice – you speak and people listen.

SCRIPTURE: Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. Matthew 5:14,16

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Not everyone speaks and people listen; but when you excel, you have a voice – you speak and people listen.

It has been confirmed that God is not willing for any soul to be lost (2 Peter 3:9). It is not the will of God for the rich, the poor, and the wicked to perish. Every lost sinner in hell is an irreplaceable loss to God. For every soul that is lost in hell, something inside God is irreplaceably lost. Why? Because God breathed into man the breath of life for man to become a living soul; and every sinner you see has an investment of God’s breath, His Image and Likeness in them.

Now, it is important to note that the rich and influential people are part of what we call the un-reached people group. You can easily preach to your classmates, neighbours in your neighbourhood, etc. but when was the last time you sat a governor, president, senator, or billionaire down and preached to him? So, the rich, the influential, the people on top are highly unreached with the gospel. But they are not permitted to be lost. And because the right people don’t have access to them, the wrong people connect them with the occult, diabolism and witchcraft. But there is an answer. That is why we are here.

Now, how do we reach these people and bring them to the Kingdom so they don’t get lost in hellfire?

They can be reached at the frequency of excellence and distinction. It takes the excellent to reach the prominent. Excellence or distinction in life gives a person both voice and influence on the earth. Not everyone speaks and people listen; but when you excel, you have a voice – you speak and people listen (Ecclesiastes 9:16). It takes people who are up to talk to others who are also up.

Beloved, get angry with mediocrity and ask God for help to do what it takes to take your place at the top by excellence.

Remember this: Not everyone speaks, and people listen; but when you excel, you have a voice – you speak and people listen.

ASSIGNMENT(S):

1. Make up your mind to be distinguished; build your capacity to such a level where no one can claim ignorance of your relevance.
2. Reach out to the prominent, people in authority and preach the Gospel to them.
