[Music + Lyrics] Come Alive – Angeloh

Come Alive - Angeloh

Angeloh is out with a new sound titled Come Alive .

In dark times we are bound to trip all over the place; and shadow boxing in the dark is the worst time to be battling anything that wants to destroy us. But Angeloh comes through with a word of great hope saying:

“[Though] I’ve been taking all these punches, losing every fight;
Joy comes in the morning, but most times it’s night;
They’ve been tryin’ to shoot me down in my time of flight;
But I know that my Jehovah never let me leave him sight.
When the light comes, You make me come alive.”
May dry bones come alive for us with the entrance of God’s light into our lives this season.

When the light comes
You make me come alive
When the light comes
You make me come alive
When the light comes
You make me come alive
When the light comes
You make me come alive
You make me

Greater, into something much greater
‘Know I need a lot of patience
Cause I’m tired of being a waiter
Cause U work everyday and I do all I can
So e dey pain when my plans no Dey go as I plan

My world be crumbling around me
Chaos everywhere there’s nowhere to go oh
Enemies all around me
Trying to crush my body and my soul
Limitations around me
Holding me back when I’m trying to go
Cause you are the reason I’m here
And I’m not giving up so I want em to know

I’ve been taking all these punches, losing every fight
Joy comes in the morning but most times it’s night
They’ve been trying to shoot me down in my time of flight
But I know that my Jehovah never let me leave Him sight

When the light comes
You make me come alive
When the light comes
You make me come alive
When the light comes
You make me come alive
When the light comes
You make me come alive
You make me

Better, into something much better
So many times you be my saviour
You Dey come through for me
when I thought I was on my own
You never fail to let me know that You’re in control

Lord when I am in trouble
You come to my rescue my father it’s true
When I am stuck in the tunnel
The light at the end of it is always You

Anytime when I stumble
You gimme the fire to get up and move
Every shackle and bondages holding me down
My Papa You come through and loose yeah

I’ve been taking all these punches, losing every fight
Joy comes in the morning but most times it’s night
They’ve been trying to shoot me down in my time of flight
But I know that my Jehovah never let me leave Him sight

When the light comes
You make me come alive
When the light comes
You make me come alive
When the light comes
You make me come alive
When the light comes
You make me come alive

Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Fighting Depression

Paul Enenche

Dunamis’ Seeds Of Destiny 18 October 2020 Devotional by Pastor Paul Enenche – Fighting Depression

Topic: Fighting Depression

When you are downcast, don’t remain there; fight depression and keep going.

SCRIPTURE: Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance. Psalm 42:5

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: When you are downcast, don’t remain there; fight depression and keep going.

Yesterday, we saw what depression did to Elijah. We saw how he was running away from what he was anointed to slay, all because of depression. Indeed, depression is a deadly enemy of destiny.

Now, apart from Elijah, Jeremiah also suffered depression. In Jeremiah 9:2, he said, Oh that I had in the wilderness a lodging place of wayfaring men; that I might leave my people, and go from them! for they be all adulterers, an assembly of treacherous men.

David was also depressed when Saul pursued him from one place to another. David, in Psalm 42:5, said, Why art thou cast down, O my soul? And why art thou disquieted in me? Hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance.

So, there were times when David, the psalmist of Israel, was downcast but he did not remain there. He fought depression. The point is, when you are downcast, don’t remain there; fight depression and keep going.

Beloved, I see you defeating depression. I take authority over the spirit of depression in your life. I curse the spirit of depression and discouragement out of your life. Today is the end of that plague over your life forever in Jesus’ Name.

Remember this: when you are downcast, don’t remain there; fight depression and keep going.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. When you are downcast, refuse to be cast down. Fight depression off your life.
  2. Reject every negative thought that will fuel depression.
  3. Make the choice for joy always.

PRAYER: O Lord, I receive the grace to be optimistic always. I refuse to be depressed by the situations of life. Thank You for what You have done for me, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

FOR FURTHER UNDERSTANDING, GET THIS MESSAGE: DEADLY ENEMIES OF DESTINY (PART 2).

QUOTE: To rejoice is better than to be depressed. Joy is more profitable than sorrow. Culled from “21 FOOLISH THINGS PEOPLE DO” by Dr Paul Enenche.

DAILY READING: Mark 8-10

AMAZING FACT: The male seahorse goes through pregnancy and gives birth to babies. They are the only animal on earth where the male carries the baby rather than the female. The male seahorse has a pouch on its stomach in which to carry babies—as many as 2,000 at a time.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION/WORD: I decree the release of the garment of praise upon your life in this season in Jesus’ Name.

Today’s devotional was written by Pastor Paul Enenche of the Dunamis International Gospel Centre (DIGC), headquartered at Abuja, Nigeria, with Pastor Paul and Becky Enenche, as the Senior Pastors. It is a power-packed arena where God’s Presence, Principles and Power are at work for the salvation, healing and restoration of human destinies and dignities

DCLM Daily Manna – God Will Always Laugh Last

DCLM Daily Manna

Topic: God Will Always Laugh Last [DCLM Daily Manna 18 October 2020 Devotional by Pastor William Folorunso Kumuyi]

Text: 2 Chronicles 22:1-12 (KJV)

1 And the inhabitants of Jerusalem made Ahaziah his youngest son king in his stead: for the band of men that came with the Arabians to the camp had slain all the eldest. So Ahaziah the son of Jehoram king of Judah reigned.

2 Forty and two years old was Ahaziah when he began to reign, and he reigned one year in Jerusalem. His mother’s name also was Athaliah the daughter of Omri.

3 He also walked in the ways of the house of Ahab: for his mother was his counsellor to do wickedly.

4 Wherefore he did evil in the sight of the LORD like the house of Ahab: for they were his counsellors after the death of his father to his destruction.

5 He walked also after their counsel, and went with Jehoram the son of Ahab king of Israel to war against Hazael king of Syria at Ramothgilead: and the Syrians smote Joram.

6 And he returned to be healed in Jezreel because of the wounds which were given him at Ramah, when he fought with Hazael king of Syria. And Azariah the son of Jehoram king of Judah went down to see Jehoram the son of Ahab at Jezreel, because he was sick.

7 And the destruction of Ahaziah was of God by coming to Joram: for when he was come, he went out with Jehoram against Jehu the son of Nimshi, whom the LORD had anointed to cut off the house of Ahab.

8 And it came to pass, that, when Jehu was executing judgment upon the house of Ahab, and found the princes of Judah, and the sons of the brethren of Ahaziah, that ministered to Ahaziah, he slew them.

9 And he sought Ahaziah: and they caught him, (for he was hid in Samaria,) and brought him to Jehu: and when they had slain him, they buried him: Because, said they, he is the son of Jehoshaphat, who sought the LORD with all his heart. So the house of Ahaziah had no power to keep still the kingdom.

10 But when Athaliah the mother of Ahaziah saw that her son was dead, she arose and destroyed all the seed royal of the house of Judah.

11 But Jehoshabeath, the daughter of the king, took Joash the son of Ahaziah, and stole him from among the king’s sons that were slain, and put him and his nurse in a bedchamber. So Jehoshabeath, the daughter of king Jehoram, the wife of Jehoiada the priest, (for she was the sister of Ahaziah,) hid him from Athaliah, so that she slew him not.

12 And he was with them hid in the house of God six years: and Athaliah reigned over the land.

Key Verse: “I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?” – “He also walked in the ways of the house of Ahab: for his mother was his counsellor to do wickedly.” – (2 Chronicles 22:3)

MESSAGE:

Historians have noted that when great kingdoms of antiquity were about to collapse, key indicators of their imminent end were always the rapid succession of their rulers, corruption and palace unrest. The great Roman Empire is cited as an example. Royal dissension and broken military loyalties preceded the destruction of Rome which the invading barbarians exploited to finish the empire.

It was not different with the kingdoms of Judah and Israel. Both had abandoned the tradition of allowing God to choose kings for them. The record in our reading says: “the inhabitants of Jerusalem made Ahaziah… king.” They left God out of the scene. The wicked mothers of the day also wielded influence, dethroning and enthroning kings. They acted as counsellors of their children they installed as rulers.

One such woman was Athaliah. She was an evil authority on both her son, Ahaziah, and her husband, Jehoram. This allowed the unrighteous legacy of Ahab to continue to the third generation in Israel. Following her advice, King Ahaziah of Judah joined the northern kingdom to fight against Syria. When he went to visit the wounded king of Israel, the Lord used Jehu, the new ruler of Israel, to execute judgment on him. Seeing her son slain, Athaliah killed all the royal seed of David so she could be the sole ruler of Judah.

It was a plot to thwart God’s promise that David’s “throne shall be established forever” (2 Samuel 7:16). But God’s word cannot be voided by puny man. So He moved against Athaliah by letting another woman Jehoshabeath to hide Joash one of the king’s sons who escaped being slain. Athaliah reigned, but unknown to her, God had preserved a seed of David to perpetuate the Messianic dynasty according to prophecy. The Lord had the last laugh.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: God sees the machinations of men, beating them at their own game.

[Music + Video] Rock Of Ages – Precious Yaya

Rock Of Ages - Precious Yaya

The song, “Rock Of Ages” came at the time the whole world was battling the Covid -19 pandemic. The entire world was at a standstill with people dying in hundreds of thousands. Economies crumbled, people lost their jobs, social distancing became the new norm.

In challenging periods as this the only source of hope is God who is able to heal our lands and make us whole again. Our strength in times of storm and our ever-present help in times of need. I personally got my testimony during this period even as I prayerfully keyed into the lyrics of this song.

My sincere prayer is that you will be touched as you listen and your life will not remain the same again. Be blessed as you listen and please share your testimony when you experience that turn around. – Precious Yaya

[Lyrics] The Anthem By Dunsin Oyekan Ft. Pastor Jerry Eze

[Verse]
We know you are Rewarder
Of those who diligently
Seek your Face
All Power is in your Hands
With you, nothing is impossible to do [x4]

This is the Confidence
That when we come to you

[Chorus]
What you cannot Fix
What you cannot Do
What you cannot Solve
Does not Exist [x2]

[Repeat Verse]
We know you are Rewarder
Of those who Diligently
Seek your Face
All Power is in your Hands
With you, nothing is impossible to do [x2]

{This is the Confidence
That when we come to you

[Chorus]
What you cannot Fix
What you cannot Do
What you cannot Solve [x4]

[Prophetic Testimonies]

We Know (We Know)
We Know, (We Know)
That you’re a Miracle Worker
(We Know)
That you’re a Covenant Keeper
(We Know)

We Know, (We Know)
Say We Know, (We Know)
We Know, (We Know)
I Know, (I Know)
Of the things I’ve handled
(I Know)
Of the things I’ve Tasted (I Know)
Of the things I’ve Seen (I Know)
Say I Know, (I Know)
I Know, (I Know)

Right now (Right now)
Let the Lame Walk
(Right now)
Let the Blind See (Right now)
Let the dead come back to Life
(Right now)
Right now (Right now)

{What you cannot Fix
What you cannot Do
