Prominent Nigerian female gospel singer and songwriter, Mercy Chinwo has released “Imela,” another soul-stirring song.
Mercy Chinwo distributed her initially single, “Testimony,” in 2015, followed by “Igwe.” A Gospel Record Label signed her a year later, in 2017.
Mercy Chinwo is a gospel musician and minister.Since tearing into the gospel scene, she has appeared on a variety of gospel music projects, collaborating with artists such as JJ Hairston, Nathaniel Bassey, Chioma Jesus, Banky W, Joe Praize, Samsong, Moses Bliss, and a host of others.
Mercy Chinwo constantly indulges her other passions in addition to music. The most important of these is humanitarian work, but they also include acting and a successful business career with the launch of her beret and merchandise company, Mecempire.
The track mentioned above “Imela,” is also from her recently discovered debut music collection, “Elevated EP.”
