Topic: The Power Of Knowledge [Monday January 23, 2017]
Scripture: And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. John 8:32.
Thought For The Day: Knowledge can make or mar one’s destiny depending on the kind of knowledge.
One of the powers that facilitates the realization of destiny and the fulfilment of God’s purpose for one’s life is the power of knowledge. The power of knowledge cannot be underestimated.
It is, however, important to note that knowledge can make or mar one’s destiny depending on the kind of knowledge. For example, when Adam and Eve got negative knowledge of the forbidden fruit and decided to eat it, it destroyed them. You know, when the truth is stretched to the extreme, it becomes an error.
Charles Darwin, the founder of the theory of Evolution was once a Bible school student. He stumbled on a negative kind of knowledge that altered his perceptions about creation completely. He later stated in his theory that human beings evolved from apes, and that has become generally accepted today in the secular world.
There is an explosion of satanic knowledge around the world today. Negative knowledge on the internet has led many people astray from God.
Beloved, I counsel you to crave for the knowledge of God’s Word. Discard any knowledge that contradicts God and His Word. Let the truth of God’s Word transform your life.
Remember this: Knowledge can make or mar one’s destiny depending on the kind of knowledge
