TOPIC: A Lesson From The Integrity Of Joseph (Seeds Of Destiny 27 April 2025)
SCRIPTURE: So Potiphar gave Joseph complete administrative responsibility over everything he owned. With Joseph there, he didn’t have a worry in the world, except to decide what he wanted to eat! Genesis 39:6 (NLT)
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Until your integrity is proven by the way you manage people’s resources, you may never access the blessing of God.
MESSAGE:
In Genesis 39, the Scripture makes it clear that when Joseph arrived in Egypt with the Ishmaelite traders, he was purchased by Potiphar, a member of Pharaoh’s staff.
The Lord was with Joseph and blessed him greatly as he served in the house of his Egyptian master. Potiphar noticed the blessing and realized that the Lord was with Joseph, giving him success in everything he did. As a result, Joseph became a favorite of Potiphar, who eventually put him in charge of his entire household and entrusted him with all his business. Thus, Potiphar gave Joseph complete administrative responsibility over everything he owned. With Joseph there, Potiphar had nothing to worry about except what to eat!
The question is: How many people can you trust with all your property and go to sleep knowing nothing will be missing?
There are many people who have mismanaged or even damaged the resources of other people entrusted to them. They were given responsibilities to manage resources, but instead of managing them well, they ran down the entire business leaving the owner bankrupt. Some people were even given the responsibility of building houses for others, but they embezzled the funds. This was not how Joseph lived.
Beloved, until your integrity is proven by the way you manage people’s resources, you may never access the blessing of God.

ASSIGNMENT:
- In all you do, make up your mind to uphold the character of trustworthiness and integrity.
- Be a good and faithful steward; refuse to mismanage anything entrusted to you.
PRAYER: Father, thank You for Your Word to me today. I receive the grace to maintain a lifestyle of faithfulness, trustworthiness, and integrity in everything I do, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
