Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Living To Release Full Potentials

Topic: Living To Release Full Potentials [21st July 2018]

Scripture: Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents. Matthew 25:16

Thought For The Day: Profitable living is living to release your potential; to refuse to deploy your potential is to waste your existence on the earth.

God created every one of us with unique kinds of potentials. This is so that we can release those potentials in order to fulfil the creator’s agenda for our lives. A major reason for our creation is the release of the potentials and talents God had endowed us with. Everyone is wired by God with a measure of talents and gifting. Profitable living is living to release one’s potentials; refusal to deploy one’s potential is a waste of existence.

Now, what does it mean to release full potentials?
1. It means giving full expression to the endowment of one’s life
It is making a determination that no gift in you shall be left unexpressed; no potential in you shall be unused; no grace shall die unutilized with you and no capability shall be left untapped in your life. It is the pulling out of whatever God put inside you. To make the most of life, you must live to release your potentials.

2) It means giving a full account of your making
It is living to prove the stuff you are made of. It is living to give a good account of your existence on earth by the deployment of your potentials.

3) It means being the best you can be on earth
To release potential entails being the best you can be. Mediocrity cages a man’s potentials and confines him to obscurity.

4) It means excelling in your assignment on earth
To release full potentials is to succeed in what you do; it is the refusal to fail in life.

5) It means addiction to excellence and allergy to mediocrity
It is being addicted to doing things well and being allergic to doing things shabbily. Someone said that the largest room in the world is the room for improvement. Yesterday’s excellence is today’s mediocrity.

Beloved, my counsel is, live to release your full potentials; push out all that God has put in you.

Remember this: Profitable living is living to release one’s potential; the refusal to deploy one’s potential is a waste of existence.

Assignments:
1. Decide to give full expression to God’s grace in you.
2. Live at your best by etching a stamp of excellence on everything you do.
3. Avoid mediocrity and average existence.

Prayer: O Lord, I ask for the grace to deploy all the potentials in me. Help me to give full expression to Your grace and gifts in me so I can live at my best, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
