Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Living With A Loaded Heart

Dunamis’ Seeds Of Destiny 4 November 2021 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche — Living With A Loaded Heart

TOPIC: Living With A Loaded Heart

What is loaded into your life determines what you can download into destiny.

SCRIPTURE: And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it his brethren: and they hated him yet the more. Genesis 37:5

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: What is loaded into your life determines what you can download into destiny.

Many years ago, I was passing and saw my children watching a particular children’s program called “Alice in Wonderland”, and I decided to join them to watch it.

In the story, there was a big bird who asked one of the characters, “Where is this road going?” And the character said to the bird, “Where do you want to go?” Then the bird answered, “Nowhere in particular”, so, the character told the bird, “Then it does not matter where the road leads; just follow it since you are not going anywhere in particular.”

Beloved, the lesson is, if you don’t know where you are going in life, it does not matter which road you follow but you will not like where you will end. If you cannnot define where you are going, you can’t identify it even when you get there. Where you are going in life should be clear to you.

You know, our anchor Scripture says that Joseph dreamt a dream. That means he didn’t wait to have a dream.

Beloved, never possess an empty heart. Always possess a loaded heart. Possess a heart loaded with the possibilities of tomorrow because an empty heart is an empty life and a loaded heart is a loaded future. What is loaded into your life determines what you can download into destiny. What is loaded into your heart determines what would be off-loaded into your destiny.

Proverbs 4:23 says,

Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.

My counsel is, refuse to live with a blank heart.

Remember this: What is loaded into your life determines what you can download into destiny.

ASSIGNMENTS:

  1. Refuse to live with a blank mind.
  2. Always have a vision ahead of you.

PRAYER: Lord, deliver me from the tragedy of living with a blank heart. I receive the grace to put a vision always in front of me, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

QUOTE: When a man has a vision for tomorrow, it gives him strength and wisdom for today. Culled from “21 FOOLISH THINGS PEOPLE DO” by Dr Paul Enenche.

DAILY READING: John 19-21

REFLECTION: The heart of the matter is the matter of the heart. To matter in your generation, matter must occupy your heart. What is it that occupies your heart?

PROPHETIC DECLARATION/WORD: Grace and fresh direction for your future be released to you in Jesus’ Name.
