Paul Enenche

Dunamis Seeds Of Destiny 9 October 2022 Devotional By Dr. Paul Enenche – Prayer As An Avenue For Servicing The Relationship Between God And Man

TOPIC: Prayer As An Avenue For Servicing The Relationship Between God And Man (Seeds Of Destiny 9 October 2022)

SCRIPTURE: After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Matthew 6:9.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: You can confirm that a person has a solid relationship with God by the buoyancy, vibrancy or liveliness of their prayer life.

MESSAGE:

Prayer has been confirmed to be an avenue for servicing the relationship between God and man.

Relationship is serviced by communication. This is why communication breakdown equals relationship break down. Where people have quality relationship, communication is quality. Where people have a defective relationship, communication becomes deficient.

Relationship thrives on communication; the more lively the communication, the more functional the relationship; the more lively the communication, the healthier the relationship.

You can confirm the nature of the relationship between a person and his God by the quality of his prayer life. You can confirm that a person has a solid relationship with God by the buoyancy, vibrancy or liveliness of their prayer life. Every time your prayer life begins to reduce, it is a proof that something is wrong with your relationship with God.

Now, what does communion with God achieve in the life of a child of God?
The Opportunity to know God
As a person communicates with God at the place of prayer, he is given the opportunity to really know the God he serves (Hosea 6:3).

You can’t know a person you don’t spend time with. You really get to know people as you spend time with them.

You see, there are people who may be in courtship for some years and won’t know each other until they get married. This is because after marriage, they have more time together. And also after marriage, it becomes difficult to hide things from each other.

So, we have the opportunity to really know God at the place of prayer. And the people who know their God shall be strong and do exploits (Daniel 11:32). Prayer brings you to the point where you know the God you are serving.

Remember this: You can confirm that a person has a solid relationship with God by the buoyancy, vibrancy or liveliness of their prayer life.

ASSIGNMENTS:

QUOTE: It is wisdom to find out what you are looking for in life; what God wants to do with your life; what will take you to your desired destination fast, and direct your energies there. The first of such activities, I believe, is your relationship with God – the time given to prayer and the study of the Word. Culled from “21 FOOLISH THINGS PEOPLE DO” by Dr Paul Enenche.

DAILY BIBLE READING: Matthew 9-11.

AMAZING FACT: A lion’s roar is the loudest of any big cat and can be heard up to 5 miles (8 km) away.

PROPHETIC WORD/DECLARATION: I decree your movement to higher levels of intimacy and relationship with God in this season, in Jesus’ Name.
