TOPIC – Righteousness: A Secret Of The Blessing (Seeds Of Destiny 13 April 2025)
SCRIPTURE: Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. Galatians 3:13-14
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The blessing of Abraham comes upon those who walk in the obedience of Abraham.
MESSAGE:
It has been established that walking in obedience and upright character like Abraham positions one for the blessing of God.
Galatians 3:13-14 emphasizes: Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
This Scripture shows that anyone who desires the blessing of Abraham must also emulate the lifestyle of Abraham which was marked by righteousness and obedience.
For example:
- Abraham obeyed God completely. When God asked him to sacrifice his son Isaac, he did not argue with God but obeyed without hesitation.
- Abraham avoided anything dishonest or dubious. He refused to take what did not belong to him or profit unfairly from others.
In today’s world, where dishonest practices and questionable behaviours are often normalized, one must take a stand for integrity to access the Abraham kind of blessing.
Abraham became a symbol of wealth and prosperity in his generation because of his right standing with God. His upright character distinguished him as one of the wealthiest men who ever lived.
The blessing of Abraham comes upon those who walk in the obedience of Abraham. Upright character is the pathway to true wealth. Make up your mind to access the blessing by living an upright life.
REMEMBER: The blessing of Abraham comes upon those who walk in the obedience of Abraham.
ASSIGNMENT:
- Ask God for the grace to live an upright life.
- Decide never to entangle yourself with iniquity, knowing it deprives people of their blessings.
PRAYER: Father, I receive the grace to live an upright life. Help me to connect your blessing, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
