TOPIC: The Beginning Of Freedom (Seeds Of Destiny 14 April 2025)
SCRIPTURE: And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. John 8:32
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Freedom begins when you can see the picture of your liberty.
MESSAGE:
In one of our previous studies, we established that your vision is critical to your freedom. Where you are now is a product of what you have seen before, and where you will be in future is being determined by what you are seeing today.
One reason many people don’t move forward in life is their failure to conceive and pursue a vision for their future. Without vision, there is no progress, and without progress, there is no freedom. Our Lord Jesus Christ is a perfect example of a visionary. While He was on the cross, He was focused on the joy and glory that lay beyond His suffering.
Hebrews 12:2 says: Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Jesus saw the throne while enduring the cross, and this vision propelled Him forward. He could not end on the cross or in the grave because His vision of glory and triumph was set firmly before Him. Freedom begins when you can see the picture of your liberty. The journey of freedom begins when you can see yourself beyond your current challenges and limitations. For example, if you are a woman trusting the Lord for the fruit of the womb, begin to see yourself with your children. If you are a young lady believing God for marriage, picture your joyful marital life.
Do not let your current position dictate your vision. Instead, let your vision shape your position and determine your destination.
My counsel is, break free from every form of bondage by placing your vision ahead of you. Sustain your liberty by nurturing and pursuing your vision.
REMEMBER THIS: Freedom begins when you can see the picture of your liberty.
ASSIGNMENT:
- Break every yoke of bondage in your life by placing a vision ahead of you.
- Sustain your liberty by maintaining and pursuing your vision.
PRAYER: Father, I receive the grace to place vision ahead of me. Help me to live permanently in liberty by maintaining and pursuing a clear vision for my life, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
