TOPIC: The Blessing Of Maintaining A Consistent Prayer Schedule (Seeds Of Destiny 5 January 2025)
SCRIPTURE: And Abraham gat up early in the morning to the place where he stood before the LORD: Genesis 19:27.
THOUGHT: Your schedule with God determines your success in life.
MESSAGE:
The Scripture makes it clear that walking in the Blessing is God’s Will for His children. This is the reason why God blessed the first man in the beginning (Gen. 1:28), and Jesus Christ received for us the package of God’s Blessing on the Cross of Calvary (Revelation 5:12). Now, one way to connect the Blessing of God is through prayer. Prayer is a major Scriptural channel for the release of the blessing or supernatural supplies (Matthew 6:11). Prayerful people are blessed people, and blessed people are prayer people. Abraham is a Scriptural example of a person who walked in the Blessing, and one secret of the Blessed Abraham is his prayer life. In Genesis 18:23-33, we saw Abraham communing with God and interceding for Sodom. Also, in Genesis 19:27, we saw Abraham praying again. Genesis 19:27 says,
And Abraham gat up early in the morning to the place where he stood before the LORD: Abraham had a schedule with God.
Two things to learn from Abraham’s prayer schedule are:
1) Your schedule with God determines your success in life.
It is not possible to be successful in life when God is not within your schedule.
2) Your private victory determines your public success.
Those who are failure privately can never be successful publicly. Abraham stood before God regularly. My counsel is, make up your mind to maintain a consistent personal and family prayer altar this year. Wake up your family members to prayer consistently. Now, another important area where it is necessary for you to maintain a consistent prayer altar is our corporate prayer altar. The Commanding the Day Midnight Prayer has been an altar of prayer God has set up to change lives and destinies. It is true that you might have connected to the prayer online once or twice, but you must know that it not what you do casually that delivers results but what you do consistently. So, make up your mind this year to make Commanding the Day Midnight Prayer a priority in your life. Also, mobilise your friends and family members to join the midnight prayer.
